Paints

With music plugged in
And a paint brush in my fingertips
My mind is at ease
It's in a different world
Far away calmly breathing
I paint going into a daze
I am at peace
I am in my happy place
No screaming
No annoying words
No arrows to my heart
I am with the me I keep losing to this heartless world
I am with the me that's easy for me to love
Hidden behind curtains of fog
I am free, cut off from the rest and all
