Ava
I crossed my legs and squeezed them together to relieve the tension built up there. Does he mean what I think he means with that comment? A part of me hopes so, and another part of me is telling me not to hope for it.

I'm not entirely sure if I'm ready for that next step. I'm not even sure if we're in a relationship or not. There has only been one date, a drunken make out session, groping, and flirting.

With Crowley, it feels right. I originally wanted to take things slow, but now I'm willing to do anything because the connection between us feels perfect. I know he feels it, too.

I felt something cold touch my thigh. I pealed my eyes away from the window and looked at my thigh. Crowley's finger traced circles on my inner thigh. I smiled softly and looked back out the window.

We arrived at the restaurant and he parked the Bentley on the side of the road. Clos Maggiore the sign read.

I opened the door and stepped out onto King Street. Crowley walked around the car and stood next to me. He shifted nervously before taking my hand and leading me into the restaurant.

We walked down a hallway and turned right into a casual dining room. I stopped, thinking that this is where we're sitting. A hand landed on my lower back and pushed me through the dining room and past the bar. We entered the most beautiful room I've ever seen. A fireplace sat in the middle of the room against the back wall. The ceiling is all glass, allowing the sun to come in and illuminate the entire room. Beautiful white and green flowers hung down from the ceiling.

"Oh, oh wow." Was the only thing I could think of to say. Crowley led me to a table to the right of the fireplace. I continued to look around the room in adoration.

"Crowley, I don't know what to say. This is absolutely beautiful."

"Err, yeah, I figured you'd like it." He hid his face behind the menu. I wonder why he's acting so nervous?

The waiter brings us glasses of water and red wine. I told him my order of oven roasted chicken breast and Crowley ordered the black angus short rib of beef. The prices for this food is absolutely insane. I hope it's worth it.

We made small talk until the food came. He shared some of his most interesting stories from all of the different decades and eras. I laughed when he told me about how he saved Aziraphale's ass from the guillotine. I could listen to him talk all day.

Our meal was absolutely delicious. Crowley told me that celestial beings don't have to eat, but he does it anyway because human food is just so good. A piece of lettuce from my side salad ended up on his plate and he almost fell over. According to him, he will only eat the lettuce he grows because it's the finest in all of London, and it never wilts or gets any spots. God forbid if he sees a damn spot. I rolled my eyes and laughed at him.

I could've eaten more, but I want to save room for dessert. Before I could even tell the waiter what I want, Crowley ordered the 'Clos Maggiore Caramelised Valrhona Chocolate Sensation' which serves two. Alright, I guess.

We dig into the dessert as soon as it came. I have no clue what this is, but it's to die for. I would die for this dessert.

Crowley put his fork down and looked around nervously. His eyes landed anywhere except on me.

He cleared his throat and began talking. "Uh, so, um, Ava, there's a reason I asked you here tonight." I nodded for him to continue. "Actually, two reasons. One being that this is apparently the worlds most romantic restaurant," He motioned to the dining room we're in. I looked around, I can see why it's the most romantic. "But, um, I wanted to ask you something."

I put my hand over his in an attempt to calm his nerves. "Crowley, you can ask me anything." I reassured him.

He let out a deep breath and looked me in the eye. Chills went up my spine and goosebumps covered my entire body. I've never seen him this nervous. His knee bounced up and down, hitting the table a few times. "Ava, I was wondering, if you would maybe consider- Ah, fuck. Ava, will you be my girlfriend?"

My heart stopped beating for a moment. I never saw that coming. I leaned in and kissed him for a moment. Crowley pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine. "Is that a yes? I hope it is. Otherwise that's a really bad way to say no."

"Yes! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" I practically threw my arms around him and buried my face in his neck. "You have no idea how happy you make me." I said softly into the crook of his neck.

"You've made me the happiest I've been in 6,000 years." He whispered. "Oh, but don't tell Aziraphale. I don't need him on my case." He said half-jokingly, half-serious.

I laughed. "I wouldn't hurt him like that."

I sat back into my chair and looked at him. He leaned back and spread his arms out along the back of the chair. Casual and cool, as always.

"I think this is the best date I've ever had!" I exclaimed happily. "Then again, it's the only date I've had."

"What?" Crowley leaned across the table towards me. "You're telling me that no human men have taken you out? Are they all blind?" A horrified expression took over his face. He pushed his sunglasses up as he waited for me to answer.

"Of course I was asked on dates. I just never said yes to any of them. I couldn't see it going anywhere, and I didn't feel a connection with them."

"Then why say yes to me?"

I gave him a knowingly look. "Really? You should know the answer to that."

Crowley pouted. "I just wanna hear you say it."

I gave in. "I said yes to you because I feel something real with you, Crowley. I feel a connection deeper than the Seven Seas Of Rhye."

"Aww, you even added a Queen reference!" He sat back and smiled proudly at me. "Gosh, you're perfect." He murmured. A blush formed on my cheeks and I looked at my lap.

Crowley tilted my chin up so our eyes met. His sunglasses were off and gold snake eyes peered into my contact-covered eyes.

"I think I love you." I said quietly, hoping he didn't hear me.

I think he heard me because he widened his eyes. "Y-you what?"

There's no use turning back now. Be brave, Ava. I gulped and said it again. "I think I, uh, I love you."

He let out a sigh of relief and tilted his head backwards. "Oh, thank Satan, I'm so glad you said it first." Crowley looked at me for a reply, but then realized he forgot something important. "Oh, shit, yeah. I love you, too."

Our lips molded together once again and I felt sparks fly. Crowley loves me. He actually loves me. This demon, who thinks he's incapable of feeling this way, loves me. I feel like the luckiest and happiest girl in the world because I'm his girlfriend. Officially!

This night has been so perfect. I cannot wait to see where else it takes us.
