New Girl

Chapter 4: Audition

(Natalie's p.o.v)

I take a deep breath as Blaine drags me to the choir room to audition. I am so nervous I can hardly breathe. I realized that I zoned out while Blaine was talking because he was suddenly waving his hand in front of my face.

"Natalie?" he asked. "Huh? Oh sorry I zoned out. I'm just really nervous." I said, embarrassed. "Don't be nervous. They'll love you. Trust me." Blaine smiles his handsome smile that makes my heart melt.

"Here we are." Blaine says. He holds the door open for me and I walk in. I stop and observe everything. I see a tall boy sitting next to a short brunette talking to him, a boy with a fashion sense next to a dark haired girl, three Cheerios, a boy in a wheelchair and more. Blaine walks over to sit by the boy with the fashion sense and the boy kisses him on the cheek. Blaine blushes and wraps his arms around him. That's new.

"Everybody, this is my new friend, Natalie. She wants to join the glee club." Blaine announces. "Nice to meet you, Natalie. I'm Mr. Schuester, glee club director. You can call me Mr. Schue." says the teacher.

"Go ahead and start. Whenever you're ready." I take a deep breath and begin.

"Shadows above the sand,

Just acting stupid like kids.

I look and see the whole club staring at me and I feel nervous but I shake it off.

"Flying high as a kite,

No ground below.

The club is on their feet already cheering, all except for the short brunette, and it makes me blush. Blaine is shouting my name and giving me thumbs up.

I finish singing and they applaud. I blush again and Mr. Schue says "I think it's obvious that you are now a new member of the glee club!" Blaine cheers and runs up to give me a huge hug. The rest of the club follows and joins in except for the one girl who sits in her chair frowning. I smile at her to brighten the mood but she just rolls her eyes and looks away. What did I ever do to her?

The song was Don't Let Go by Lea Michele. (I don't own glee or that song or anything)I suggest listening to the song. Also yes I realize that I used a Lea michele song and Lea plays Rachel and "wouldn't she notice Lea looks exactly the same" type thing but oh well.
