A/N: This was my very first request by a really kind girl, Alyssa. Her user is @famdomsbaby and she makes TMR stories too. This is going to be from her POV. Hope you like it, Alyssa!

Once, I was wandering around the Glade, chatting with the Gladers here and there. Newt was busy again with leader stuff. He was always promising to make up for it. After socializing with Teresa about being the only few girls, I headed towards the Runners that had just returned from a tiring run. They were messing around like guys do, arm wrestling, one-upping each other, talking smack. I greeted them with a simple,"Hey," and they greeted me similarly. "Minho, is this the girl you were talking about?" Thomas asked. Minho looked away, most likely hiding his blushing face, but then replied, "Yeah." Thomas nodded,"She's pretty cute. I'll give you that. But isn't she with Newt?"

"I guess. Why don't you ask her, ya shank?" Minho spat.

"Hey, I'm right here," I piped up.

"We know, and I'm sure Minho's definitely noticed your presence..." Another Runner teased, making the other Runners laugh.

"Slim it, Klunkhead," Minho growled.

"It's Alyssa, right?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah," I nodded. That was right around the time where things started heating up. Newt flew out of who-knows-where, and slapped Minho pretty badly. "She's mine, shuck-face," he snarled, then added, "And if you try to change that, I promise, you'll regret it." I'd never heard Newt be so threatening, but he had always been the type of boyfriend that would get defensive over anything. He came and gently took me by the hand. A little distance away from the Runners, he asked me innocently,"Promise me you'll never leave me, Alyssa. Please?"

My face eased into a heartfelt smile, "I'd never leave you for anyone. Ever."

"Promise?"

"Promise." He leaned in for a kiss, making my heart melt. We walked and talked, hand in hand.
