Josie and Lizzie have always been the saltzman twins. Just the two of them. Sisters. Hope mikaelson on the other hand, was not as close with her family. Considering, she had none left. She shut people out, pushed them away, and tried to distract herself in the wonders of books, and art. After a while art became her coping method. But, after a longer while, no coping method was enough for the loneliness Hope felt day to day, Hour by hour, minute by minute. She started to let someone in. Josie. Josie and hope became closer than ever.

"Hey Hope.." Josie entered the room, noticing hope was reading again. "Whatchu reading?" She said, gesturing towards the obvious, offensive spell book. "Dr.saltzman wont allow the teaching of offensive spells so i decided to take matters into my own hands." She said, lifting up the book for josie to see. Josie was also very passionate about this subject. One thing they had in common. "Can i help?" Josie asked, looking at hope. Hope hesitated, as she was not used to the attention. "Uh..." She paused. "Sure." Hope smiled, to try to ease the akawardness.
Time skip - (during the roadtrip.)
Lizzie, Josie, Hope, Alaric, Caleb, and Mg are on a trip down to the city. While their there, Hope learns some interesting information about the sisters. And why Lizzie in particular had a certain hatred for hope.
"I set the fire in your room." Said Josie, sighing.
Lizzie was shocked.
"I didnt want you to know. Either of you. Because i had a crush on you."
"Why couldn't i know?" Asked Lizzie.
"Because my whole life, everytime i like someone you go for them. And you always win." Josie frowned.
"You had a crush on me." Said hope smiling.
"Of course i did. Who wouldn't."

After the course of the next few weeks, Lizzie and Hope grew closer. But not in the way that you would expect. They grew closer, as sisters.
