Soul POV

“Dude I heard this awesome band is going to play tonight you want to go?” I heard Alex ask I shrug my shoulders “Sure” “Cool they’re supposed to be awesome”

I decided that I might to lay back and I laid back and was think about the past when I come across a memory that I wished and prayed a thousand times not be real

A happy girl that I once could my best friend came bouncing up to me “Hey Soul” she said happily “Look we can’t hang out anymore” as I said those words I could see her heart break and fall into little pieces “Why?” she asked as her beautiful eyes got ten times their size and the ass that I’m replied “Cause I can’t be seen with a freak like you” and walked away from her

Then that brought on the memory of the promise that I broke

In the late noon just before dark two Alexandria and I sat in a tree taking a rest from playing, when Alexandria turns to me "Soul will we still be friends when we are older like mommy and daddy?" She asked "Always!" I answered happily "Promise?" she asked "Promise!" I assured her

“Soul come on” I heard Alex call

“Ok” I called back picking up my stuff and heading to the door

I look up to see the one and only Alexandria putting every bit of emotion that she bottled up since 7th grade and I smile proud of her
