Chapter In Which Oreo Dies (or not)

Alex's P.O.V 

Christian and I watched Lisi quickly run inside to get her brother. Who could be depressed with all that money, it beats me. I tapped the cup song rythem with my fingers on the car seat as I waited, Christian ofcourse texted, Lisi with her extremely tall brother came outside and yeeeeshhh.. He would have been a hot guy if only he wasn't so.. well.. sad.. he had sad hazel eyes, a sad mouth, heck, even his hair seemed to be drooping, he slouched as he walked and sat in the car beside Christian. Christian looked up at him and shiffled a little away from him I don't blame Chris, this kid has this scary manic way about him and its driving me crazy. 

Lisi started the car and I looked over to her, 'What now?"  She smiled t me and shrugged her shoulders, she backed out of the loooonnnngggggg driveway ino the road, "Well... Maybe we could visit?" I grimanced, I asn't excactly.. ready to face my family members, 

"Well,... Okay.. fine.."  She grinned and started to speed to the hospital which had Oreo and Mom in it, this will be interesting..

We arrived at the hospital, me and Lisi walked together at the front, the Christian, who was texting like a mad man, and Damien (the brother) who was slouching terribly and looked defeated. We all walked into the reception room to see a girl on a stretcher pulled out of a room and rushed into another one. i walked up to the receptionist and asked her which room oreo was in, 

"Are you family?" she looked at all of us, 

"yes, yes we are," 

"Welll.. Oreo would be in..". she trailed her indext finger down a list, 

"Oh, she was the girl you just saw being carried off awhile ago," 

I stood frozen for a moment, 

"WHAT?!!!"

The receptionist looked at me coldly, 

"She had a stroke a few minutes ago out of stress and such and the doctors culdn't find her pulse so they are now in the emergency- " 

I sped off tofind the emergency room where I saw the doctors run for.  "Mster you are not allowed!!!" I was already gone, I heard the gang hurry behind me and I felt Lisi spped up to be beside me, 

"What- what happened-" 

"Oreo might be dieing," 

"N-No Wh-WHY?!" 

"stroke," I hit open most of the doors and  found them occupied or empty, I opened the last one in the row and found doctors hurrying around it.  looked around,  hear moniter, doctors, stretcher... OREO, 

I ran into the room knocking others over to see my sister again, I saw her with her beautiful black hair surrounding her face framing it makeing her look like a lion, I smiled a weakly and touched  her hand, she didn't ster, or even bat an eyelash, I heard shouting and the doctors tried to get me out of the room but the gang (except Damien) fought them off, a nurse near the heart rate moniter's screen exclaimed, "It's gone down, it's gone down she's.. DEAD!!!" I felt the breath and air knock out of my chest and I collapsed on my knees hiding my hands on my face. I felt my world fall down around  me, the one I loved most, my sister, was.. gone.. lost.. and she wasn't coming back.. I felt the trickled of tears on my cheek and I felt Lisi hug me and Christian patted my shoulder, Doctors and nurses looked on, I looked up to see Damien walking slowly towards Oreo with his arm outstretched, 

NuH , no freak touches my sister, even if she's dead, I strained againgst Cristian's and Lisi's strong grip tostop him from touching her. He reached out his hand and touched her right hand with his left hand. He stood here for a while just looking at her and holding her hand, suddenly I saw her eye lashes flutter and her arm moved, she-she was... 

ALIVE. ALIVE. SHE'S ALIVE. 

I saw Oreo's eyes flicker and looked into Damiens eyes, she smiled softly and gripped his hand. I felt something go between them , like an electic shock, i saw the love and light enter Damiens drawn stricken face and saw my sister's smile brighten up as well. They stood, just holding hands and staring, doning nothing else, like each of them were a play they were waiting for to start.  

She miracolously sat up and hugged Damien and Damien hugged back, Oreo started crying, something you never see her do, nurses tried to push her down so she could rest but she, as determined as ever hung on to Damien. She slipped off the bed and stood, holding Damiens both hands in her own, nurses and doctors stared at both of them, I looked at Lisi ands she looked back with a look of amazement. I don't know what happened.. but it was pure... magic.
