Alex's P.O.V
"urghhh..." I groaned moving my hand. My head felt like it was made of lead. My arms ached, my mouth tasted.... metallic, like..blood. What... What happened? I try to remember and fail, I suddenly remember.
oh .... but...
I try to open my one million pound eyelids, agh, they can hardly move, just one more-
"Alex!!!!!" I heard a screech and I felt a body fall on top of me.
"Argh!" I coffed groaning in the process, who's happy to see me? That's not possible, noone's ever happy to see-
"You idiot! What were you thinking?" I fet warm arms wrap around my body and a light body landed next to me.
"huhhh????" I moaned lifting my eyes successfully at last.
"Alex! You're awake atlast! You've been asleep for like ONE MILLION hours!" I saw a beautful girl with messy choclate brown hair was lieing on th bed beside me, her arm across my stomach-sorry- *coff* abs.
I blushed when I relized those beautiful lips were near my cheek. Wait,ofcourse, it's Lisi, my friend, but what's she doing here? Why is she talking to me? "Oh My Gaga Alex you had me sooooo worried!" I felt her lips all over my face, but not on my lips.. naturally,
"Alex! say something she said sitting up and giggling" I smiled nd tried to sit up, she helped me. I was in a room, a white room with curtains at both of its sides,
Lisi's hair was messy and her mascara looked horrible, she looked like she'd been crying.
"Hello,Lisi," I said smiling weakly,
"Alex ALEX ALEX ALEX ALEX!! Iwas so worried, I thought.. You looked so ded.." She sniffled and I lifted my heavy hand and brushedaway a tear that was forming in her eye,
"Don't cry, it'll make you look worse than you look now," she giggled and I felt my face, I felt three bandages n my cheeks and a busted lip mending. Ouch.I shrugged it off and asked an important question,
"What happened?" I asked looking around in bewilderment,
"Oh you just got knocked out and stuff, your ribs were bruised severely and your lip was busted,your nose was nerlly broken, th nurse set it back though," Ah, I remember that unexplained pain in one of my uncorn and rainbows dreams.Opps,I didn't mean for you to know that.
"So what am I gonn do?" I asked running my hand through my unsheveled hair,
"I don't know, the nurse said to are able to go now," I nodded my head and stroked my chin thoughtfully, curse my parents' new found money, I can't crawl to the elevator now can I?
"But,I'm sure you can walk though," Lisi said combing her fingers in her hair, I smiled ad nodded but another question popped into my head,
"Why didn't you talk to me at all today?" I asked looking at her curiously,
"I... my father, never mind,"
"C'maannnn..."I said,
"Why do you want to know so badly?" she asked crossing her arms,
"Fine, I don't want to know," I said, not trying,
She smiled at me, that sweet smile nodded, hugged me one more time and left, not making a noise. I saw my bag beside me and slng it over my shoulders and stretched, ahhhhh.. I smiled and walked outside. I passed many people who did a double take to look at me. Hmmm... What did they hear I did? Shot someone? Oh well....
I finally reach the main door and just as was about to walk past it.. something on the notice board grabbed my attention
'Come one come all,' it began, 'To the Back To School Dance on Friday. September 5th,' my mouth began to resemble an O, how come they have it so early in the year? Isn't there a Halloween Dance, the Autumn Ball, Christmas Ball, The New Year Eve's Prom, The End Of Year Prom, Easter Egg Celebration Ball, and atlast but not least, the Graduation Ball. What is with this school and balls? Wow, um that came out wrong, 'ADMITTION FEE - $25 oh, ookay, that's why they do it, to earn an extra $25 000 dollars... ok. I wonder if Lisi could... NO, she's gonna already have a date.... But,,...... Oreo always says to forget my fears... But... Alright, tomorrow, I will.. I will... Ask Her... Let's just hope she puts me down nicely and safely.
