Ch.2 Cuts and bruises

you hear the...sound of an engine...
You turn around to see a blue mustang, you didn't think much of it so you just kept walking until, they pulled up next to you and 3 Socs came out.
"Hey baby, why don't you come with us" a boy says putting his hand on your waist while you back up into another soc. You then scream, kicking the guy in front of you in the face making him fall to the ground. Then elbowed the guy behind you in the stomach, you screamed out for the gang before getting knocked off your feet getting held down. You see the guy pinning you down get out a blade and hold it up to your cheek.
"Big mistake greaser!" He said before you feel a sharp pain in your cheek then feel blood pour down your face until hearing foot steps and saw people jumping over you. A couple moments later you feel someone pick you up.
"It'll be alright, doll" you heard a voice that sounded like Sodapops
But then he mumbled something you couldn't quite hear "I should have went with you"

I put y/n on the couch, I looked at her cut on her cheek then being pulled back by Darry with a medical kit opening it and cleaning her cut.
"You should have been more careful kid, your lucky you only have one cut" Darry said while putting a bandaid on y/n. When Darry walked away I lifted her head sitting down and then laying her head on my lap. She must have passed out from shock but I'm sure glade that she's okay.

I woke up to slight snoring so I looked up and found out I was laying on a sleeping Sodapop, I blushed and slowly got up and saw Twobit talking to pony boy then looking at me
"Hey the sleeping tomato is up!" Twobit said laughing, then realized the rest of the gang was there laughing. I buried my head in my hand then I felt a hand on my back, I looked up to see a tired, grinning sodapop but my eyes were wide, I grabbed his face touching the bruise on his cheek.
"Ouw" Soda said pulling back, I started to tear up knowing the bruise was my fault. Sodapop then pulled me in a tight hug, the gang started "Oooo-ing" but Soda kept hugging me. I nuzzled my head in his neck then a muffled "sorry" came out of my mouth. Soda pulled away and said "it's not your fault those Socs shouldn't have messed with you" he said with care in his eyes. I looked at him for awhile getting a little closer every few second until- Steve tries shoving cake in Sodas mouth and a moment later Soda started tackling Steve to the floor while I giggle.
"I should go home" I say getting up
"It's 11 at night I think you should stay here" Darry says
I looked at Darry and nodded. Twobit, Steve and Dally eventually left, leaving Soda, Darry, Pony and you.
"Ponyboy you sleep in my room, Soda you can either sleep in your room with y/n or sleep on the couch your choice" Darry said leading me to Pony and Sodas room. Darry handed me an extra blanket and said "good night, my room is over there if you need anything" I nodded and laid the blanket down on the bed then Soda walked in with a box. "These were Sandy's clothes but I thought you can pick something out to sleep in" you grabbed the box and looked through it. I picked a white shirt and shorts, I went to the bathroom to change. When I got out of the bathroom and went to the bedroom I saw a shirtless Sodapop putting away the box. I put my folded extra clothes at the side of the bed.
"I'm going to get a glass of water" I said walking into the kitchen. I got a glass and filled it with water taking sips every few minutes. I then feel arms snake around my waist, I set the glass down and look around seeing Sodapop.
"Are you going to bed soon? It's past midnight" Soda said with a smile
I nodded being surprised with Soda taking my hand and taking me to his room. Soda gets on his side but I hesitate to get on mine, he pulled me onto the bed. I get under the blankets and start to fall asleep until I felt Sodas arm wrapped around me pulling me close to him. I looked at him and his eyes were shut so I just decided to close my eyes as well
——-Morning——-
I wake up to the sun hitting my face, I started to get up until I remembered that Sodas arms were wrapped around me so I just decided to enjoy the moment and just lay there. Later I thought I heard the door open then I heard soft chuckles, I felt soda move then soon after I moved to face the door seeing Twobit, Steve and Dally trying to hold their laughs but when me and Soda looked at them they crashed to the floor dying of laughter but then Darry demanded them to go back to the living room. Soda lifted my chin.
"Good morning y/n"  said with a smile.
I got out of bed and said "good morning, Soda" then walked out of the room with rosy cheeks. When I got to the living room the embarrassment grew when "y/n is a real cutie I can see why Soda is all up on her" Dally says smirking, I flipped him off and walked to the kitchen to see if Dally needed any help.

I ran to take a shower. When I walked out of the bathroom only in my towel I asked Darry
"Have you seen my pants"
"Yeah I ironed them they are in my closet"
I saw y/n look at me and blush, I winked at her and walked to Darry's room putting on my pants, white shirt and my DX shirt. Then I went to the kitchen chugged half a glass of chocolate milk and gave it to y/n
"Finish that for me, will ya?" I said while smirking running out the door with Steve
