"Hermione?" Harry stopped her in the hallway. "Everything alright? You seem a bit confused."

She looked at her friend."Yeah everything's fine."She forced a smile.

The boy nodded."Good, I'm about to have a chat with Malfoy, looks like the case has more holes than we expected." He started walking when a hand caught his arm and stopped him.

He turned to gaze at the witch.

"Don't go now." She explained. "Give him some time."

Harry was ready to protest when he saw the concern in the girl's eyes and decided against it. "Okay." He said instead and Hermione released his arm, allowing him to leave.

She then entered her bedroom, closing the door behind her and sitting on her bed, her mind replaying her little conversation with the blond.

He looked so...different.He was different, he was hurt but he decided to hide it, he sometimes just couldn't.

The question was how hurt could he possibly be?Of course he had lost both of his parents, that was a huge trauma but he wasn't even close to them, or was he?

She hadn't really spent enough time with him during their school years so how could she know, and why did she want to know?Like she even cared, of course she didn't, that Slytherin had bullied her, called her a mudblood countless times, insulted her more than anyone and now, she was...concerned?

No she wasn't concerned, she didn't allow herself to be, she was just curious, yeah that was all she wanted to know what had broken the unbreakable Malfoy.

An other knock at the door, Draco had left the site of the window to sit on his bed when Potter came in.

"Lunch is ready." The dark haired said from the doorframe.

"Granger brought me a disk already." He pointed the untouched disk.

"Oh, you won't come downstairs?"

"Not likely."

"Okay then, I'll be leaving soon with Ron so the living room will be available if you got bored of the guest room."

He nodded and turned to look at the window. He then heard the door closing and turned around again, falling back against the soft pillows and looking at the ceiling.

He stayed there for an hour or so, deciding that the two other wizards would probably be gone by then he left his room and went downstairs, entering the small living room.

He looked around and spotted the photos on the wall that he had seen when he had first came here.

He neared them slowly, there were many, almost the whole wall was covered by them.

The golden trio was there of course, laughing, hugging, talking. And then some photos with the Weasley family or with that Longbottom boy.Lovegood was there too, as well as Sirius, his mother's cousin. They were both dead now, the picture was alive though, he was laughing over some joke with Potter.

"Spying?" He heard a voice and quickly turned around to face Granger, leaning lazy against the door frame.

He smirked. "Looks like it."

"See anything you like?" She glanced at the pictures behind him.

"Hardly."

"Got a bit bored up there huh?"

He moved to sit on an arm chair some feet away and gazed at her again. "Are you trying to make conversation Granger?"

She smiled. "With you? What could I possibly discuss with you?"
