Chapter 6

'Good afternoon. What are you doing?'

A smile was brought upon (name)'s lips as she saw the name that popped on her screen. It was a text, coming from none other than Todoroki, her personal doctor.

It was near her lunch time, so she was relaxing herself a little before going out. It had been a little tiring for her at work today. However, to receive a text like this totally lifted up her mood.

She took her phone and unlocked it to reply the text.

'Good afternoon. Nothing much, just waiting for lunch.'

Sent.

Now, she excitedly waited for his reply.

'I see. Sorry, I forgot you're at work. I've just finished my shift today. Want to go for a lunch together?'

(Name) couldn't help but to bury her face in her palms in order to restrain herself from screaming. She knew he was going to ask her for lunch, but she didn't know that it'd make her so happy.

Then, with a big grin on her face, (Name) typed a 'Yes, why not.' on her screen. It was to make her look calm despite the dancing beat of her heart. She was extremely looking forward toward her lunch now.

'Alright. I'll pick you up in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, please take care of yourself, (name).'

She jumped a little when she read her name at the end of the text. Todoroki sure knew when to act formal and when to act casual.

Her heart fluttered when he told her to take care of herself. Even in this situation, he still cared about her, causing her cheeks to blush a slight pink. Well, who wouldn't when a hot doctor told you that?

"What are you grinning about?"

A sudden 'greeting' from behind startled her.

(Name) almost fell from her chair. Slightly annoyed, she turned to look at the caller.

"Bakugou! You surprised me!"

The male just indifferently scratched his head.

"Well... you were giggling and jigging all alone for some time now. I was curious, so I came."

Her face flushed.

"I-I did...?"

"Yeah... Pretty much everyone saw you."

(Name) was too embarrassed, she couldn't say anything. When she moved her eyes to look at her surrounding, a few pairs of eyes were fixated on her, giving her a weird look. Some even laughed at her.

She really didn't realize that she was making sounds. Feeling awkward, (Name) immediately got up from her seat and rushed to the coffee room.

"Oi, where are you going?"

Bakugou asked as she attempted to leave.

"S-sorry, Bakugou. Let's continue our chat later. I'm thirsty."

And just like that, she vanished from his sight.

"Tch."

The male frowned.

"What the hell got into her?"

He asked the question to himself, feeling slightly disturbed at her bubbly mood just now. It made him curious, and got him worried at the same time.

What if, she got herself a boyfriend?

Meanwhile, at the same time, (Name) was trying to calm herself down in the coffee room.
