Chapter 14

It was morning.

The ray of sunlight managed to make its way through the gap between the curtains straight into the room.

The light reached Todoroki's eyes. Slowly, he opened his eyes with a frown on his face.

He moved one arm to protect his precious eyes, and when he was just about to lift up his another arm, it felt heavy.

When he turned to his side, he saw a very familiar girl lying on his arm and comfortably rested her head on his bare chest. It took him a while to recall back what happened last night, and when the memories flashed back into his mind, he couldn't help but to blush a little.

'Who could've thought I would do that...' was what he thought.

Todoroki took this chance to look at the girl who was sleeping soundly next to him.

She was so pretty, even when her whole body was covered in blanket. The calm look on her face was priceless, he didn't know how to react when he saw it. In the end, he just ran his fingers through her bangs.

A smile perched on his lips.

"I'm so blessed..."

The minute he muttered those words, the girl suddenly moved. She was also disturbed by the lights that managed to make its way into the room. Therefore, she forcefully opened her eyes.

"Good morning, (name)."

Todoroki said, planting a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Morning..."

She replied while stretching her body a little. Then, she gave him a smile.

"Has it been long since you woke up? You must've stayed in the bed because of me, right?"

(Name) asked when she realized that she was sleeping on his arm.

The male just shook his head.

"Not at all. I was just staring at your sleeping face."

The answer surprised her.

"You were staring at a sleeping lady? You know you shouldn't."

"Yeah, but I did anyway. You were too pretty."

The smooth sentence got (name) turning red in no time. She just moved her face away from him and made an attempt to leave the bed.

"I-I need to take a bath. Then, I'm going to prepare breakfast."

She said as she reached for an unused shirt on the table beside her bed. She prepared them already last night, just in case.

Who knew she would actually need it? Well, she couldn't find the clothes she wore last night anyway. Not even her underwear.

(Name) went out of the blanket and put on the shirt. She then grabbed a towel from the same spot and wore it around her waist. When it was done, she got off the bed.

Todoroki was only watching from the side, not saying anything. He actually wanted to stay in bed longer with her, but didn't have the courage to ask that of her. So he just watched as she walked into the bathroom.

"Huh..."

A sigh slipped out of his lips. Now he regret he didn't hold her longer.

'Bzz, bzz, bzz, bzz.'

His phone vibrated.

Todoroki got up and reached for the phone. He looked at the caller's name.

Yaoyorozu.
