In the end Tori managed to convince Rory to agree with her staying to finish off the work, it was only two more weeks after all. As he had finished shooting he was also able stay in Croatia with her.

"How's things going with you guys now? I can't tell if your back on or not?" Emily asked on our last day of shooting.

"You're asking the wrong person surprisingly as I don't have a clue either. I mean, we're sharing a hotel room, he sleeps next to me each night and I wake up in the morning with his arm around me. There's no other connection though, no sex, no romance. It's odd, he just seems to spend all his time in the room trying to sort out accommodation for when we get back".

"Fuck, and how's that stuff going?".

"Again, wrong person. He has not once asked me for any input, I have no idea what he's planning. Part of me wants to go back to London, but I know he will want to head back to Scotland, but we never talk about it".

"Jesus Tori, you need to fucking nip that in the bud now. It's straight up going to fail if you just keep floating with it. It's you baby and your life too, you have a say!".

"I know, it's just-"

"It's just nothing Tori. Today is are last official day and tomorrow a other heap of work is about to start for you. You can't do this blindfolded. You're not some rich guys side piece anymore".

That last bit stung, but she knew Emily was right. For some reason she had this guilt about what had happened between them and to make up for it, she had become a complete mute, terrified of it all fucking up again. This couldn't continue though, and when she got back tonight the official 'talk' was going to happen whether she liked it or not.

Tori ended up working till late and didn't get back to the hotel until 11. Rory was in the same place she'd left him this morning, at the dresser with her laptop.

"Back late" he mumbled without looking up when she entered the room.

"Last day, you know what it's like" she sighed and flopped down into the bed with complete exhaustion.

"Room service?"

"Sure, but there's something I... I mean we, need to do first" she replied and pulled herself up to sit straight.

Finally, Rory managed to pull himself away from the laptop and turned in his chair to face her. "Should I be worried?"

Tori sighed again and ran her finger through her matted hair. "I dunno, I think you need to answer that. I want to be honest with you, you came back two weeks ago and gave the most romantic declaration ever and then the next day, doom, awkwardness. We've been in his hotel room together and not once have you tried to make.a move or even give me a little kiss. You spend all you time sorting things out for when we leave, but you don't talk to me about any of it. I'm completely in the dark, like what's the plan tomorrow. Are we leaving? And I'd so are we leaving together? Because I honestly don't know".

Rory had been expecting this, but he didn't think she would come at him so one sided. "You know, this is a two way street. You could show some interest in sorting stuff out, you could ask or give input. This isn't like some little secret affair. This is a relationship, to me at least, even if your not mentally there with me. I'm trying my best to do right by you and are kid, and yeah, I have no idea if I should make a move because again, you have seemed that interested and I'm not about to force myself on you".

Fuck, he had her there. She had left it all for him to sort out whilst she continued working and then got prissy because he didn't involve her. She needed to involve herself, she need to stand up on her own two feet for once.
