"Can I open my eyes yet?" Tori laughed as he helped her blindfolded out of the car.
After a five hour flight, the couple had finally arrived in Edinburgh. At first, she had questionedhis decision to head to Edinburgh as she knew he already had a small place in the highlands. Rory had pointed out that perhaps waiting for the arrival of a little one when 100 miles away from the nearest hospital wasn't probably the best idea and so he had found a rental on the outskirts of the city.
"Holy fuck Rory" she gasped when she finally opened her eyes to see the most beautiful house before her.
"Pleased?"
"It's a tad big for two, no?" She laughed back at him and reached up to kiss his cheek.
"There'll be another soon and I figured a bigger house would give us more space, it's going to a change for both of us. Living together and all that, especially this quickly".
"You getting sick of me already?"
"Now that ain't ever gonna happen" he smirked back with his lips against her as his hands slowly creeped down her back.
Without another word, he suddenly had her in his arms as he walked towards the house and then straight up the stairs towards the bedroom. Tori was snorting with laughter as he plopped her down on the bed and drives down to placed his lips to her neck.
As he slowly made his way to further down her body, she couldn't help think of how lucky she had been. To find the job she had, met Rory and have him make her feel more loved than she ever knew possible. It was both a dream and heartbreaking at the same time. Her mind continued to float off to slightly darker thoughts and a sudden twinge of fear erupted through heart burn in his stomach. This moment, this past few weeks with Rory had been perfect, would it last though? What happened at the end of the romantic movie plot line, when the curtains went down and the credit rolled, would the love and happiness continue?
"You alright?" Rory suddenly asked after having not heard a moan or word from her.
"Yeah, I'm just..."
"Stuck in that pretty head of yours?" He asked and slowly crawled back up from the bed.
"How is it that you know me so well after such a small amount of time?"
"Because I love you".
That caused a smile to creep across her face as she pushed herself up and leant against the headboard. Rory was still sat towards the end of the bed, but his eyes never left hers once.
"Something is going to go wrong. You know that right? Nothing is ever this smooth and easy when I'm involved".
"Aye, I may have not known you years, but I know a trouble maker when I see one".
"And your okay with that?"
Rory sighed a smile and shuffled up the bed towards her. "Nothing is going to go wrong. I'll do whatever I can for you and the baby, but if something does happen, whatever it is, we'll get through it... together".
"I want the happy every after Rory. I want it with you. When those curtains come down on our story, I want to just ride off into the distance... or sail away into the distance with you. The thought of something ruining that...".
"Well what's going to ruin it? You got another ex lover hiding in a closet? You gotta stop fretting about this Tori, just relax, enjoy your life and leave the rest of it behind".
"You're right" she shrugged.
"Course I am".
Tori snorted a laugh again and playfully went to hit him on the arm, but he quickly grabbed held of her and pulled her down on top of him with a pride smirk.
"Oh you wanna play those game huh?" She continued to laugh.
"I've been trying for last 10 minutes" he growled.
