Flippy And Fliqpy Roleplay!

SECTION 8: WINDS OF CHANGE Part 3

Splendid and Fliqpy cuddled close for a little while, Splendid reassuring Fliqpy. He was shaking, and scared, and Splendid had a strange feeling that his lover was no stranger to overdosing on pills.
Had Fliqpy tried to commit suicide before? Was that it?
Eventually, they let go, and Fliqpy attempted to smile.

"I'm going to go see Flip,"

Splendid nodded.

"Sure. Although I would like to see you again tonight.."

Fliqpy nodded, and they exchanged a hug. All too soon, Fliqpy had closed the door and was walking off.
Splendid shrugged. It wasn't like his lover would be gone for long.
He took out a newspaper and started to look for job vacancies. He didn't want the two of them to be struggling, this time next year.
Strange. He'd never had a relationship like that before, where he felt so certain that this time next year, it would still be him and Fliqpy in this house.
But he could hardly see it any other way.

Fliqpy didn't know what to think. Remembering his brothers accident was terrifying. These few days his brother was unconscious he couldn't think straight, and even now it was difficult. Just how easy was it to have a fatal accident without even realising. Just how fragile was life and existence...
He tried to dismiss these thoughts, but once they mixed with his own experiences he had to stop in his tracks and lean on the wall next to him that he was walking along.
Life wasn't just fragile. It was nothing. Existence was meaningless on the larger scale. He knew better than most how little they meant. But now he had a different way of life. He had to take care of his brother. And he had to stay with Splendid, he couldn't imagine his life without him. As little as his existence meant, he wouldn't leave Splendid, and he would do anything to keep the bluenete with him.
After calming down he carried on walking towards his brothers house. Once he got there, he knocked and didn't have to wait long for his brother to open the door.

"Yo."

"Yo,"

Said Flippy. His cheeks hurt slightly from smiling - he felt so happy to see his brother.

"This is unexpected."

"Yeah."

Replied Fliqpy. He still didn't look right, but Flippy had to admit that he looked better than he did this morning.

"How's Splendid?"

"He's fine. He didn't want to come, How's Petunia?"

"She went home."

Said Flippy with a smile. Petunia had only come over for the morning. She had an important law exam she hadn't studied for.

"Why do you even study for these things?" asked Flippy once.

"Because my parents will kill me if I fail."

Petunia answered, packing her books in her bag, before giving Flippy a kiss,
Flippy smiled, remembering it, and Fliqpy nodded.

"Sure. What do you want to do today?"

Flippy grinned.

"Do you fancy going for a walk to our old headquarters. For old times' sake?"

Fliqpys eyes sparkled.

"Yes, definitely. I was going to say the same thing. We haven't been there since..."

His voice trailed off and he didn't dare finish the sentence, but flippy only nodded sadly.

"I know. It's been a long time."
