Flippy And Fliqpy Roleplay!

SECTION 8: WINDS OF CHANGE Part 2

Splendid tried to call. He was getting worried again.
"Hey, Fliqpy?"
There was no response. Splendid swore under his breath. What was Fliqpy doing?
He'd have to leave a message,
"Hey, Fliq, this is Splendy. I'd just like to know you're okay. Love you."
Splendid stopped and put the phone down. For the first time, he realised just how empty his apartment was without Fliqpy. It hadn't seemed like a large apartment before, but now the space seemed to smother him. He could have invited friends over, but friendships seemed so fake, so awkward next to what he had with Fliqpy. He cuddled the teddy bear and sighed.
How much longer would it take before Fliqpy came back? He missed him.

Petunia sat in her room on her bed, doing some homework and assignments to catch up with all her work. She really didn't want to do it at all, but she knew she had to.
Yet she couldn't stop thinking about that guy she met, Flippy. He was cute, she was wandering why on Earth would Flaky break up with someone like him. He was really nice to her, besides, he was quiet and reserved, always seemed to look for the right words to say. He wasn't one of those cocky guys, who would show off or anything. But he wasn't too quiet, or shy at the same time he tried hard to make a decent conversation. He was just... The perfect balance. Petunia just hoped he'd call her eventually.
It would be a good distraction. They could go somewhere together and maybe for a night out, she didn't know but... He seemed like the right type for her. If he would just call....
She was almost done with her homework when the phone finally called and she saw his number.
"Yeees!"

Flippy had debated about calling this number for ages, pacing to and fro across his room.
As soon as he was about to do it, he thought of a good reason why he shouldn't. Like, his room was messy, or there was work to be done, or his favourite show was on TV.
Eventually, he took a deep breath and punched the number in. When she picked up, he could hear her quiet breathing.
"... Hey," he said, trying not to choke on his words.
"Hey," she replied,
"How's your homework going?" Flippy was desperately trying to make conversation now.
"It's so boring. I don't know why I'm doing Law - it's not like I want to be a lawyer or anything."
"Fair enough," muttered Flippy, "I don't know what I want to do anymore."
"Do you literally have no idea?" asked Petunia, and Flippy could hear the surprise in her voice,
"No idea." replied Flippy, "I stay at home and hide,"
"Well, you're talking to me..." Petunia laughed, and Flippy smiled. He liked the sound of her laughter a lot.
"Well, see you tomorrow. This coursework was a 6 month project, and of course I've left it all until tonight."
Flippy smiled, "I'd like to hear how well you did,"
Petunia laughed, "Don't expect anything good."
Flippy shook his head, "I'm sure you'll do alright. See you later."
"See you later," replied Petunia, and then the line went dead. Flippy sighed, and shook his head. That could have gone better. But then again, said a little voice in the back of his head, that could have gone a lot worse.

Fliqpy tossed and turned on his bed again and didn't know what to do to sleep. Maybe that idea wasn't so good... He shouldn't have done it. He quickly decided he would go back to splendids and sleep with him, maybe that would help. But... Just as a precaution he wanted to take a few sleeping pills. He knew they'd knock him out good, and possibly prevent nightmares, maybe even as much as help him control his night terrors and not hurt Splendid again.
Opening his medicine cabinet he realised all of the medication, at least a dozen of different boxes, stood unopened still, and he received them a long time ago. He just didn't feel like taking those happy drugs as they call it. But this time he'd do it. For himself and for Splendid. Just a peaceful night with him, he'd love that.
He walked to his place feeling the effects already taking over but he wouldn't let himself fall. He got inside his apartment, took his shoes off, and without a word got into Splendids bed, right next to his boyfriend. He hugged him and had just enough strength to give him a goodnight kiss before his body went completely limp from the drugs.
