"Good Morning babe." Xavier, my fiance said.
"Morning love." I replied giving him a kiss on the lips.
"Are you ready for work?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am..." I answered yawning.
"You look tired. You should stay and take a rest. " he said with concern.
"I am fine, Don't worry." I muttered and I sipped my coffee.
"Good luck on your presentation this morning." I mentioned.
"Thanks darling." He said giving me a hug.
"Anyways... I must be going." I stated.
"Yeah me too." He replied and he grabbed the keys to his black Lamborghini....
We hugged before we left... Sweet Right?
I did the same and grabbed the keys to my BMW i8...
We left our mansion and headed our separate ways.
Xavier Hendrix, my fiance is an architect and he has his own company... "Hendrix Designs" And I on the other hand is following my dreams of being a doctor.... I really love what I do and I am pretty good at it. This is an amazing field of work. I am a Cardiologist at Seattle Hospital.
The drive wasn't that long to work, I quickly parked at an empty spot and headed inside. There were many patients today, I wonder what happened.
"Dr. Scott! We need your Help!" A fellow doctor, who is a friend of mine, Andrea Wilson shouted to get my attention.
"Okay, Let me get changed and I will be here in a sec." I replied back.
I hurried and changed into my scrubs. I grabbed a pair of gloves and made my way to where Andrea called for my help.
The patient was a male, around the late twenties, has tattoos on his arms and chest. There was blood everywhere. There was this girl about his age next to him crying. I am guessing that's his girlfriend.
"Andrea! What happened to him?" I asked with concern.
"Amm, This is Johnathan Ross, age 26. He was in a car accident and he was just brought in. He was complaining of chest pains and shortness of breath. She explained.
"He most likely to have Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. Lets book an O.R" I announced.
A Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy is an incident that can happen after a car accident. This stress- induced heart incident can cause chest pain and shortness of breath. The symptoms mimic the most common heart attack caused by blockage and requires hospitalization.
"Can you save him?" She the girl asked.
"I'll do my best, Don't worry.... Amm..." I said with my smile.
"I am Megan, His girlfriend." She introduced.
"Okay I have to go.. But I'll do my best." I quickly said and hurried off to the OR that is being prepped for the operation.
He was on the operating table ready for me to operate.
I got prepared and I was all set... Since I am the only doctor working on him, I should call my bestfriend Zara Thompson a fellow Cardiologist.
When I stepped into the O.R, I told the nurse to page Dr. Thompson...
Within a few minutes Zara arrived.
