Kaityln POV continued...
"OH MY GOD!" I shouted.
The sight I saw was a bloodied knife in some bushes along the back of the house. It must have fallen out of the guy when he was fleeing. It looked like he jumped the fence and the knife fell out. He maybe didn't realise.
Tom who was wearing gloves, took the knife and placed it in a evidence package. He said they will investigate and see if they find any thing. But the blood on the knife is most likely Xavier's.
I walked out front where my car is parked. I got in and I called Xavier...
Xavier POV...
I was just laying on this bed when my phone rang. I looked at the screen to see it was my baby calling. I answered immediately...
Me: Bold
Kaityln: Italics
"Hey there beautiful..."
"Hey, I have something to tell you."
"Okay, What's up?"
"You remember that Tom said he will search the house to see if any evidence would be found."
"Yeah, I remembered."
"Okay So, They discovered a bloodied knife at the back fence."
"Waw, I'm pretty sure that, That's my blood on that knife."
"Yeah, That's possible. They took it to the lab to do tests to find out if it's really yours."
"Orr okay. Did they find out how the hell the guy got in?"
"They believe that he came in from the back fence. And when he was escaping the knife fell."
"Waw, That son of a bitch. I hope they catch that bastard."
"How are you feeling by the way?"
"A bit better but I'm really tired and sleepy."
"That's normal. I'll check you in a bit.. I'm leaving to come see you."
"Okay, Take your time."
"I will.. "
"I'll see you in a while then."
"Yeah. Bye babe."
"Bye Sweetheart."
Kaityln POV...
The call ended and Tom and the officers left. I then drove to the hospital...
The drive wasn't that long, I parked and I made my way to Xavier's room. He was laying on the bed... He looks better but he also looks tired and frustrated.
"Hey babe," I said with my smile as I walked up to him.
"Hey love." He answered.
I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. How I miss kissing him...
I planted my butt on a chair right beside him. I kept him some company.
After a few minutes, I got paged to go see a patient. I told him I will be back to check up on him. He told me that he is fine and not to worry.
I hurried off to the patient who I was paged to attend to. It was some guy who needed a check up and also needed some stitches for his wounds.
"Hello, I'm Dr. Scott." I introduced myself.
"I am glad that a doctor is finally here!" He said in an angry tone. Waw, his voice is deep.
I checked him. He was fine actually, now I need to stitch his wounds.
"May I ask how you got these wounds?" I asked.
"I fell." He said instantly.
"Or ok." I replied.
"Can we hurry this up? I have places to be." He said.
"I'm almost finished." I replied. I hurried to finish stitching him. Because I can see that he was impatient. He is so mean...
****Time Skip****
Xavier POV...
I took a power nap and when I got up I noticed Kaityln on her phone in the chair beside me. She looks a bit down...
"Hey sweetheart," I said.
"Hey, How are you feeling?" She asked.
"I'm Okay, How about you?" I asked.
"I'm fine." She answered and I can tell she is not...
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yeah," she replied with a sigh.
"What's wrong?" I inquired.
"Just seeing you in here makes me depressed. I don't like to see the people I love in this state." She said with tears in her eyes.
"Baby, I know. But this shouldn't get to you. Be strong and brave.. I'll be fine and get out of here soon." I said comforting her.
I indicated to her that she should come and lay next to me and she did. We cuddled for a while until we were interrupted by a nurse.
The nurse didn't even apologise for interrupting us. She checked my vitals and made sure everything was okay then she left the room.
"That nurse needs to get some manners." Kaitlyn said and I agreed...
We layed in the bed and Kaityln fell asleep. She looks so adorable when she sleeps.
After about 20mins, Zara came into the room looking for Kaityln but Kathie was still sleeping.
Zara and Kaityln supposed to have a surgery together. Zara said it's okay she can handle it and she said to leave her to sleep. While she is getting the sleep she should take it.
****Time Skip****
Later that Day,
Kaityln POV...
I got a phone call from my parents. They are doing okay. But the company is still being attacked by Fox Corp... My mom and dad are trying there best to keep the company going..
Xavier is in the hospital still and I am home. I'm gonna take a shower and put on some comfy pyjamas and then I'll take an early nap. I was gonna stay with him in the hospital but he told me that I need a shower and a rest. So that's why I came home.
I am so stressed. Why all these problems are happening? Like what did I do to deserve this? My mom, my dad and even Xavier are being faced with problems...
I hope Tom is getting through with the case. He hasn't given me an update as yet. I really hope he catches the person who put Xavier in there. Why does someone or some persons what to mess with us? Like why? I didn't call for this. I hope this works out. And the people out there gets caught and gets dealt with.
