Xavier POV...
I got up from sleep and noticed that I was the only one in bed. So Kaitlyn left without telling me goodbye.
I freshened up and got dressed for work. I headed downstairs and then I was ambushed. This guy in a completely black outfit and a mask hiding his face attacked me. He held a knife in his hands that was covered with gloves.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm the worst nightmare." He replied. His voice was deep, I didn't recognise it.
"What the hell are you going in my house?" I questioned.
"I'm here so I can end you so there will be no one standing in my way." He said.
"Standing in your way for what?" I asked.
"From my girl and I." He replied.
So that means he is here to kill me so he will get Kaityln. What the hell?
Who the hell is this guy?
We fought and he stabbed me a couple of times. I now have bruises and scares. I defended myself but he had a knife. I have him some bruises as well.. I would have killed him but I didn't.
I layed on the floor and he was there looking at me so I can die. Just then we heard a noice and he was gone. He disappeared...
A maid walked in... She dialed 911 and told them that her boss is laying on the floor in and out of consciousness.
A ambulance came together with the police. My house is how under investigation...
I can believe something like this were to happen to me... Whoever did it they wanted me dead..
I am now in the hospital in a bed. The killer's plan failed because thanks to Zara and Zidane for saving me life, I'm alive.
I got up to see Kaityln at my side. Her head was rested on my hand. She was crying... I moved a bit and she raised her head and wiped the tears that were in her eyes. She smiled...
"Xavi." She said with a sadden voice.
"Kathie," I called her name. My voice was a bit weak.
"I can't believe that you are awake. I was so scared, I thought I would've lost you." She said with tears in her eyes.
"Babe, Don't cry. I am not going anywhere, I'm here. I may not be in the best health right now but I'm here no matter what." I told her and she smiled.
She leaned over and gave me a warm kiss on the lips.
Just then, the door opened and we pulled away breaking the kiss.
"I'm so sorry to interrupt but Xavier, I need to ask some questions." Tom said.
"Okay, What do you have to ask?" I asked.
"Did you see who did this?" He asked.
"No I didn't because the guy was wearing a mask, gloves and was dressed in black." I responded.
"Okay, was the voice recognizable?" He said.
"No, It was deep and I didn't make out who it was." I said.
"Oh okay. Will it be okay if we search the house for clues?" He asked.
"That wouldn't be a problem. You can proceed. I do hope you find that son of a gun who did this." Kaityln mentioned.
"Okay, I'll keep in touch. I hope you recover well. Get better soon!" He said and walked out the room.
"I'm so glad we have a detective working on this. I hope they find the person who put you in here." Kaityln said.
"Yeah, Me too. Babe, You should go and get some sleep." I told her. She looks so tired, worried and stressed out.
"I'm fine don't worry." She answered.
"Hey, C'mon you look tired. I will be okay. The last thing I want to hear is that you are not getting any rest. You know when you don't get your proper sleep you be grumpy." I said to her.
"Okay, Okay... I'll take a rest." She replied with a smile.
****Time Skip****
Kaityln POV...
So, Xavier is in the hospital. Tom, the detective told me that he wants to search the house for clues so I'm gonna meet him.
When I arrived home, he was there with police car and a few officers.
"I'm gonna search the entire premises." He stated.
"Yeah, Okay." I said. I'm go glad that he is doing this. Maybe he will find out how the hell the guy got in. If he left behind anything? I hope they find something that will help in the case to find that son of a bitch who did this to Xavier. I'm so frustrated, I can literally beat someone up the way that I'm feeling.
I can't stand the way people are treating my family. It makes me sick...
I'm still outside in my car. I'm not going in there just yet. I have to make sure that it's cleaned fully. I've heard that there is blood all over.
I'm so upset. Why does these shit keep happening to us? Like what the hell man. Don't these people have any thing better to do rather that messing with the love of my life and my family... like what the hell is going on with society today? I'm so confused why Xavi? What did he do to have them do something like this?
"Mrs. Hendrix?" I heard Tom calling. Interrupting me from my thinking...
"Yeahhh?" I replied back looking up.
"We found something and I'm sure that this will help us find who did this." He said. Finally some evidence.
"Okay, where is it?" I asked and I got out of my car and followed him.
"Follow me, Its this way.." he said while I walked behind him to the back of the house.
"There it is." He pointed to it.
"OH MY GOD." I shouted....
