Chapter 33

Mason Fox POV...

I was at my girlfriend's house and there were bad news.
As y'all may know that Amber is my girlfriend. We have been dating a while now. But what my parents don't know is that she is the daughter of there enemies. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott of Scott Enterprises...

If my parents only knew who I was really dating, they would flip and the relationship that I have with Amber will be no more.
And we can't have that right?

And even my sister is out of a relationship and in a new one. Damn what is wrong with that girl. Her last boyfriend Johnathan Ross kicked her out of his house because she was caught making out with her new boyfriend in Johnathan's house... I don't give him wrong. I think she deserved what she got...

So I keep my relationship on a low around them. But Amber's parents know who I really am. But they have gotten to know me so well that they trust me and that I'm not like my crazy parents who has to get what they have their eyes on.

Oh right, As I said that they are experiencing a bad time right now. They other daughter, Amber's older sister, Kaityln Scott or Kaityln Hendrix has been missing for 3 days now. This is tragic, that's why I'm here comforting them through this difficult time.

I was sitting with Amber in the living room comforting her. We were in the couch watching TV trying to get her to relax because ever since she heard that her sister was kidnapped she had been crying alot.

Just then, my phone starting ringing. Great!
I looked at the screen to only notice that the person calling me was my father...

I turned to Amber telling her that I need to take this. I got up and watched to the front porch the answer the call.

Me: Bold
Dad: Italics

"Hello,"

"Yes, son. Where the fuck are you?"

"I'm at a friend's house geez."

"I want you to quite playing the fool and I need you to come to my office."

"Okay! I'll be right over."

The call ended and I walked back inside. I told Amber about what I had to do and she understood. I gave her a kiss on the lips before walking out of the house to my car.

I drove to my dad's company and parked at an empty spot then I entered the building and the elevator up to his office.

"So dad what you need me to do?" I asked.

"Oh your mom want you to pick up a box that is by the stock room at the basement of this company. She also said that you should take that box home to her." He explained what I had to do.

"Okay, will that be All?" I asked.

"Yes that is all." He replied and with that I walked out and took the elevator down to the basement which was the ground floor.

I saw the box that was marked Mrs. Fox on it. That must be the one..

I was about to pick it up when I saw Lucas Carter a guy who works for my dad.
He was coming out of the stock room. He then locked the door and placed the keys in his pocket. Where he saw he looking with a confused look.

"Hey, What are you doing down here ?" He asked.

"I'm just getting this box for my mom." I said pointing to the box that is now in my arms.

He nods and was about to walk away when I asked, "What were you doing in there?"

He was confused, He didn't know what to say. Then he said, " Your dad asked me to check on something."

"Okay if you say so." I said and I walked to the elevator with him. That was strange what was he really doing down here. I'm sure if dad needed something to be done, He would have asked me since I was would have been there for this box. Whatever it is, something doesn't feel right about this. I'll have to get to the bottom of this...

I got home and carried it to my mom, she was in the home office. She thanked me and I headed up to my room...

What is in that room that made Lucas looked like if there was something there're hiding?
I thought that, that room was just a stock room but now I guess that I'm wrong. There is something off with all this...

Tomorrow, I have to get some papers at the company for my mom. So while I'm there I'll make my way to the basement and find out that the hell is going on...

Kaityln POV...

(Next Day)

So it's officially 4 days now that I'm in this hell hole they call a room. I'm tired, sleepy and hungry. I just want to go home!
What is up with these people?

While contemplating, the door opened and a face I never thought I'll see walked in. Earlier they placed a tape over my mouth so I could say a word.

"Kaityln?" He said with a confused look.

He walked towards me and removed the tape from my mouth.

"Mason! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Yesterday, I was in the basement getting a box for my mom when I saw Lucas coming out of this room with a "up to something" look. And I felt something was off with him. So today I came to investigate and now I know that I was right..." he explained.

I didn't say anything.

"I'll help you get put of here. Don't you worry?" He assured me.

"Could you maybe get my friends? They'll understand the situation." I asked. So he will get Zara and Zidane instead because my family and Xavier will be in a state of distress so my friends will be able to handle this.

"I'll get them. I'll drive to the hospital after I leave here." He said.

I nod.

"I would get you out right now but Lucas will be back any minute." He said.

"Okayy.. Well I guess you should probably go before you get caught." I mentioned and he nod heading to the door.

"Take care, I'll be back with your friends to rescue you." He said and he left...

After a couple of minutes Lucas walked in the room with a bottle of water.

"What the hell? I thought I placed that tape on your mouth." He said..

Shit! Mason forgot to put back the tape on my mouth.

"Was someone in here?" He asked.

"No, you locked the door, remember?" I said.

I can tell he was pissed. He threw the bottle at me and stormed out of the room.

Huh?
