Gabriel slept the night at my house and told his parents he'd be staying at mine. Dad and Bailey could see that it wasn't time for joking around and tease us. Tears were still visible in Gabriel's cheeks and they held so many things I couldn't find out. But all I know is that in his eyes held darkness where he was lost and couldn't find a way out back to the light.

"You can sleep in the guest bedroom right next to mine and if you need anything just open my door. I'll be staying up late reading books anyways!", I said, breaking the silence in the house. We were eating dinner and beside my voice breaking the silence, it was the cutlery making all the clattering noises. "Okay!", said Gabriel as he finished his dish and put it on the counter top. I finished mine and gestured for him to follow me upstairs. I looked behind me to see Dad and Bailey hitting each other like girls, fangirling, I shook my head in disapproval and smiled to myself.

I opened the guest room door and turned on the light and stepped aside for Gabriel to walk in. He looked in the room and walked over to my bedroom door and opened it. The light was on, I guess Bailey was here looking for a charger. Gabriel chuckled. "What happened in here? Last time I was here it was squeaky clean!", he said, sitting down on the ground and leaning his head on my bed. I could see his smile forming back, which made my heart jump with joy. "Bailey always manages to come in my room and mess it up on purpose because he always comes here and looks for a charger when everything he looks for is in the living room!", I said, laughing. He smiled and stared at pictures I stuck up in the ceiling with the help of dad.

Silence filled the room and I decided to play music...

Country music, baby!

(Play the music now!)

The strumming of the guitar started playing in my speakers. It was only 6 pm but why not live a little? "Please, not this song!", whined Gabriel. I laughed as I grabbed both of his hands and helped him up. That's when we started dancing to the song.

When life leaves you high and dry

I'll be at your door tonight if you need help if you need help

I'll shut down the city lights,

I'll lie, cheat, I'll beg and bribe to make you well, to make you well

When enemies are at your door I'll carry you way from more

If you need help, if you need help

Your hope dangling by a string

I'll share in your suffering to make you well, to make you well

"Sing!", I laughed over the speakers, he laughed and started singing. His voice sounded very angelic like. Making the whole world stop and time freeze, the only making me happy right now was him. Gabriel Henderson.

Give me reasons to believe,

That you would do the same for me

And I would do it for you, for you

Baby, I'm not moving on

I love you long after you're gone

For you, for you

You would never sleep alone

I love you long after you're gone

And long after you're gone, gone, gone

When you fall like a statue

I'm gon' be there to catch you

Put you on your feet, you on your feet

And if your well is empty

Not a thing will prevent me

Tell me what you need, what do you need

I surrender honestly

You've always done the same for me

So I would do it for you, for you

Baby, I'm not moving on

I love you long after you're gone

For you, for you

You would never sleep alone

I love you long after you're gone

And long after you're gone, gone, gone

You're my backbone, you're me cornerstone

You're my crutch when my legs stop moving

You're my headstart, you're my rugged heart

You're the pokes that I've always needed

Like a drum baby don't stop beating

Like a drum baby don't stop beating

Like a drum baby don't stop beating

Like a drum, my heart never stops beating

For you, for you

Baby, I'm not moving on

I love you long after you're gone

For you, for you

You would never sleep alone

I love you long after you're gone

For you, for you

Baby, I'm not moving on

I love you long after you're gone

For you, for you

You would never sleep alone

I love you long, long after you're gone

Like a drum baby don't stop beating

Like a drum baby don't stop beating

Like a drum baby don't stop beating

Like a drum, my heart never stops beating for you

And long after you're gone, gone, gone

I love you long after you're gone gone gone

The song ended, Gabriel's arms wrapped around my waist. My arms around his neck, our breathing uncontrollable. His mesmerizing brown eyes were even more beautiful closer, his adorable smile making my chest heaving up and down as I try to catch my breath. Suddenly our lips were only inches apart, he moved his face an inch closer when I hear squealing behind us. I parted away quickly and our faces flushed pink. "This will never get old!", Bailey said, high fiving dad.

"Okay, it's bedtime now! Move along you two!", I said, shutting the door behind me. That's when I opened my eyes again and found Gabriel sitting at the edge of the bed, his head in his hands. His cheeks look worse than mine. It looked like his face was dipped in ice cold water. "That was so embarrassing!", he mumbled, he looked at me and laughed. "What?", I asked, laughing. "Your face!", he said laughing again. "Yeah, it looks like an overcooked potato!", I said, laughing with him. Once our laughing calmed down he looked at me with those once again mesmerizing brown eyes...

And kissed me on the nose.
