"Can I ask you a question?", whispered Gabriel, he's been annoying me ever since yesterday at lunch and it's bugging me. I rolled my eyes once again and gave out a deep sigh, I looked at Bailey with pleading eyes but all he did was give me a smirk. "Ms. Henderson!", said Mr. Holland, making Gabriel jolt in his seat causing me to giggle and some of the girls in the class as well.

"Yes, my lord?", said Gabriel, I bit my lip from laughing. Gabriel must've seen it too because he tried to contain his laughter. "Stop bothering Ms. Rodriguez, she's clearly sick of your 'romantic' pick up lines!", said Mr. Holland, everyone in the class went in the fits of giggles. This is why Mr. Holland is my favorite teacher of all time. He may be only 23, he really does have a lot of potential, he's the youngest teacher in the school by the way. May I add... The most good-looking one?

"Yeah, Gabriel! You should try a bit better than that!", laughed Bailey, making the whole class laugh. Mr. Holland couldn't even contain his laughter, as he laughed with the class not shortly after he clapped his hands and the class shut up. "Okay, let's not waist our time laughing about and mocking around!", said Mr. Holland, making the girls in the class fall in a fit of dreaming sighs at his mesmerizing smile. "God, he's so hot!", I mumbled quietly, my eyes suddenly going wide in surprise at what I said. "Yeah, right!", mumbled Gabriel, angrily. I looked at him like he just insulted Mr. Holland, well he actually did. I glared at him and nudged him with my elbow, hard enough to make him fall off his seat.

Which in case, you know he actually did. Not to my surprise everyone in the room laughed quietly, I looked at Bailey and he gave me a wink, so did I. 'Nice job!' he mouthed out, I gave him a smile and he smiled back. Not soon after that Mr. Holland dismissed us early because his grandmother called him for an emergency back at home because she couldn't figure out how to use a computer. I walked out of class, Bailey following in suit. "Let me guess... He insulted Mr. Holland?", he asked, giving me smirk. "And? You know how disrespectful that is?", I asked him, eyeing him like he's food.

"Okay, stop eyeing me like that it's creepy!", said Bailey, shuddering. I laughed at him as I nudged him with my shoulder lightly. "Sit with me during writing in Ms. Mendes's class! I need your help on writing my chapter 6 of my story!", I said, as we took the front row seats. Everybody started to fill in by the minute, making me feel impatient. I really need to finish chapter 6 for my story! Who will Gwen choose? Gilbert? Or Jacob? "Ms. Rodriguez! Your paper please, come and get it!", she said, impatiently.

I got up from my desk and quickly retrieved my paper. As I sat back down next to Bailey, I noticed how she had dark bags under her eyes and how moody she is. Probably stayed up all night doing what every teacher does... Grading. On an honest opinion, I feel very bad for the teachers having to try and balance everything out. I mean I heard that her boyfriend cheated on her. Not that I eavesdrop or anything...

Maybe...

A little...

Yes...

No...

Ugh, fine! But only a little I'm telling you. "Abigail! Didn't you hear what Ms. Mendes said? We can work in the library all day!", said Bailey, clapping his hands. "Okay, please wait for me in the library... I've got something to do first!", I said as I secretly took a glance from Ms. Mendes who was checking her phone. Poor Ms. Mendes. He gave me a nod of approval as he took my stuff and walked out the door just like every one else. "Hey, Ms. Mendes!", I said, politely making my way towards her desk. She looked at me blankly and went back to looking at her phone, taking a big sad sigh. "Let me get you some coffee!", I said, giving her a toothy grin. She gave me a pleading face and that was my cue to go out in the hallway, ask the coffee lady some latte, just what Ms. Mendes likes.
