Karan placed her on bed. He covered her with duvet properly.
He caressed her hair.

He kissed her forehead.
He closed the door of her room.
Karan took out his gun. He looked at it and smiled a bit.
He took out all the bullets and threw them in the dustbin.
He took out a cloth from his pocket and hugged it to his heart.

Preeta was playing with kids in a park. Karan was seeing her hiding behind a tree.
Karan saw her smiling. He frowned. He never liked people who smile, laugh when he can't.

Kids smiled and hugged her.
Karan left from there.

He left.

Guru called him.
Guru: Karan kaam hua...
Karan: Nhi Guru... Shyam ko...

In the evening,
Karan went to a wedding.
Preeta was dancing on the gate with her other friends.

Karan went to Sameer's room and hid behind the curtain.
He took out his knife.
Preeta(smilingly) : Main bahut khush hu...
Sameer came out of washroom and looked himself in mirror.
Karan was about to attack him but Preeta's smiling face was flashing in front of his eyes. He was unable to do his work.
Sameer moved out with his friends.
Karan came out.
Karan (frustrated) : Kya problem h... Aaj pehli baar The Karan Luthra apna kaam nhi kr paaya.. Kyu... Kyu uski smile nhi cheen paaya main... Main toh zindagi bhar yahi krta aaya hu... I hate smile.. I hate happiness..
He clutched the knife in his hand tightly. It started bleeding.
He just wore his hoodie and moved out of the venue.
Preeta saw drops of blood from Sameer's room. She followed to see Karan near the gate drinking with his hand bleeding.
Preeta(from behind) :Oh hello... Ghungat guy... Ruko...
Karan closed his eyes and fists his hand in anger.
Preeta ran and brought first aid.
Preeta: Kitna khoon bh rha tha.. Pta nhi kis se ladai krli.. Logo ko kya khushi milti h pta nhi dusro ko hurt ke...
She looked here and there but didn't found him.
Preeta: Ab yeh ghungat guy kaha gya... Huh.. Main andar jaati hu.. Vrna Shrishti jaan le legi...
Preeta kept the box there only and left.
Karan came out as soon as she left. He looked at the first aid box.
Preeta: Pta nhi logo ko kya khushi milti h dusro ko dard dekar...
Karan took the ointment and applied it on his wound.

He left.
