!!!! This whole story is Valerie's dream, her reliving the past couple months!!!

I slowly opened my eyes to a place I recognized as my room. It was cozy and felt like what home should feel like to me.
The walls where white while one wall was olive-green, my bed was queen sized and there was a guitar in the corner off the room. It was a black, shiny, country, fender guitar. I loved it. Music has always been important to me.
Not only music, but words in general. You can say so much with only a few words. It's so important to be able to say what you feel; let it be as a song or as a poem or a story or even just you talking. If you use the right words you can make anyone feel anything you want them to feel.

I stood up and grapped the light-washed jeans and dark green shirt I had picked out yesterday. I put them on and brushed my middle long, kind off curly brown hair. I looked at myself in the mirror and stared into my green eyes for a minute before going downstairs.

My little brother was already sat on the table, eating his oatmeal.
'Hey Sam!' I said with a smile pointed at him.
He mumbled something back at me without looking up from is bowl. The nine-year-old wasn't really a morning person. He actually looked a lot like me. Even though his hair was more blondish than brown and his eyes where blue. We both looked a lot like our father.

My little sister looked a lot more like my mom: they both had white-blond hair.
Talking about the devil, the door to our living room opened. My sister, Ella, walked in and I greeted her. She didn't say anything back, not even letting me know if she heard me or not.

If she would just use words to tell me what she wanted I'd understand her a lot better. Just tell me that you don't want to talk for example.

I loved my sister and my brother. My sister and I fought a lot more but that was probably because of our smaller age difference: she was 11 while I was 14.

When I was done eating breakfast I got up, brushed my teeth, said bye to my family and got out. I took my bike and went to school, while singing 'six billion' by nothing but thieves.
------------------------------------
I parked my bike in the same spot I always parked it in, very close to the front of my school's entrance. I took out my phone to text one of my best friends, Summer, with whom I usually bike to school. She had to go to school earlier because of a project she had to finish.
>hey sum! Where are you?
<hi! I'm in the girl's bathroom
>I'll be there!
I took some books out of my locker and walked into the girl's bathroom, to find not only Summer but also on off my other best friends in there.
'Hey Val!' She almost yelled at me.
'Hannah!' I said before hugging them both.

I know it sounds weird, but honestly; the girl's bathroom is best hangout place in the whole school. We always come here to chat because it's never really busy and we love to stand by the window to look outside.
We were just chatting when the bell rang, telling us it was time to go to class. We actually all where in the same class so we never had to be apart.

'So,' Hannah said while we walked through the hallways, 'have you talked to Jacob yet?' She smirked at me and wiggled her eyebrows.

'No!' I said laughing. 'Why would I? He's just a boy in our class. No big deal!'
'Come on Val! We know you have a crush on him! And besides, he's hot!' Summer exclaimed.

I laughed at my friends not saying another word, letting them know I was done with this topic. I didn't even like Jacob, I just thought he was nice.
