We have testweek right now and one off my friends pushed me to publish a new chapter so she can read it when she is done with the test.. so new chapter!

They were right though... Jacob was hot. He had grey eyes, dark as thunderclouds, light brown hair that was slightly curly and he had muscles, I didn't know how he got those because as far as I know he didn't play any sports.
Thinking about him made me picture him. While walking towards our class the picture off him became more detailed and it seemed like it zoomed Hey Ave!'
'Huh' I woke up from my imagination but still saw those grey eyes.

'Oh uhm, hey Jake!' I stuttered, 'Sorry I wasn't focusing.' I could slap myself while my best friends just giggled behind me.

Jacob had called me Ave since the day we met, saying it suited me way better than 'Valerie'. I agreed because 'Valerie' was way too long, but I wanted to give him a nickname to. I decided on just Jake because it made me think off Jacob from Twilight and he was hot.

And to be honest, my Jake was way hotter. I wouldn't ever tell him that though because I knew he would get really cocky if I would.

Still embarrassed I took my seat next to him in English class, the only class in which I didn't sit next to a girl.
When after a minute or two off Jacob and I chatting the teacher started talking, my friends were still giggling.

'So, we are going to start with a new project today.' Our teacher told us.
'Some off you are probably going to think it's really hard, but I'm guessing some others are going to love it.' She looked at me and then at Jacob, flashing us a smile.
I looked at him, surprised when I already found his eyes on me. He laughed silently while I looked away.
'Poems!' Ms. Bloom said. 'You are all going to write a poem about something that's important to you. We'll take a couple months because we are going to study some first and at the end of the project, you'll all read your poems in front of the class.' she smiled at me again.

'I expect great thing from some of you.' she said while looking at Jacob again.

Why was she looking at him again? I thought when I felt something against my arm. I looked up to see Jacobs arm pushing against mine, trying to get my attention.

'What?' I asked him.
'Why did she look at you?' he asked me.
I shrugged. 'I like words.'
He laughed at that. 'You like words?'

'Yeah,' I answered, thinking off how stupid that must have sounded. 'I like how you can say so much with only a few words.'

'If you look at it that way... a silence can tell you more though.' He told me with a small smile on his face while I looked disapprovingly at him.

'There's more emotion in saying nothing, just being quiet sometimes. You have to admit that Ave!'

I shook my head. 'Nope!' I told him, popping the 'p'. 'There are so many words, why shut your mouth when you can make anything clear?' I asked him rhetorically.

Just like I expected, he didn't answer. He just looked away, smiling.
I tried to focus on my teacher again, but I couldn't stop thinking about what he had just said. How could a silence be clearer than words? I really didn't get it. I was too caught up in my thoughts to pay attention to Ms. Bloom because off it.
The fact that Jakes arm was still laying against mine and was shooting fireworks trough my veins might have also been a factor on my inability to focus.
