This is the first really important chapter of this book! Also I'm #122 in personal already?

I sat on my bed reading a book, still laughing about the interrogation from my friends.

I loved this book series and had reread them so many times. I still loved them though, I mean: who doesn't like Percy Jackson?

My phone made a noice and I grapped it from my bedside table.

I unlocked it and went to snapchat, where I'd gotten a snap from Hannah.

She'd sent the snap in a group chat that also included Summer, Julia, Zoe and Alexa, some of my best friends.

I tapped on the red box and a picture of her foot appeared.

'I injured my ankle while playing hockey...😕'

I clicked away and replied, saying I felt sorry for her, hoping it would get better fast.

I grapped my guitar and started playing 'Wish you were here' by Pink Floyd.

I loved that song, the imagery was beautiful but strong and I got really caught up in playing guitar and singing.

I just finished the last line when I heard my phone making a noice again.

It was another snap from Hannah. She said she had been to the doctor already but that he had sent her to the hospital to have X-rays.

I felt really sorry for her because i knew she loved playing hockey just as much as I did.
We did not play hockey at the same club but that did not detract from the fact that we both loved sports.

I really hoped her injury wasn't anything serious...

Summer and I Arrived at school early, the next day.
We went to our lockers and then walked to the Audi.

Summer was really worried because Hannah had not responded to any of her messages.

I really hoped she'd be in the Audi already because I was worried too.

We walked up the stairs to the upper part of the Audi, where we usually sat because it was more quiet there than in the rest of the Audi.

Julia, Zoe and Alexa were already sitting at a table but Hannah wasn't anywhere to be found.

'Hey guys! Have you talked to Hannah today?'

They both shook their head after greating us.

Summer sat down quietly and they all seemed to be caught up in their thoughts. I really felt the urdge to open my mouth when I heard Sadie.

'Goodmorning! Where's Hannah? She's usually early right?'

'Yeah, she is. We are all kind of worried about her. She told us her ankle was injured yesterday but we have not heard from her since.'

Sadie's expression became a reflection of ours.

Then I heard my phone make a noice again.
Unfortunately it wasn't a message from Hannah but from my mom.

I had told her about my worries last night and she was checking up on me now.

>Hey! Is Hannah okay?
< Idk, she isn't here yet...
>text me if you know more!

I love my mom. She is always there when I need her, just like my dad. I could have fun with both of them, but also serious conversations. I knew I could always tell them everything and I always did.

I woke up from my thoughts about how lucky I was with my parents when I heard a rhythmic click.

When I looked up I saw two crutches and an ankle covered in withe bandage.

I looked up to see a familiar face. I noticed the dark bags under her green eyes and the forced smile on her lips.

I stood up and walked to my best friend.
'Hannah! Are you okay?'

'Yeah...' she said with a sigh.

She looked me in the eye, my look telling me not to lie to us.

'But actually no.' She said with a slight grin on her face.

I loved how, no matter how bad she felt, she could always make jokes.

We captured her in a hug before making her sit down, laying her crutches by her side.

'So?' Zoe asked.

We all looked at Hannah, hoping her injury wasn't too bad.

'I've thorn my ankle bands. I have to walk with crutches for at least a month.'

She looked down at her hands.

'Shit.' I sighed.

This just sucked
