~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hannah really wasn't someone who loved doing nothing.
Just sitting and laying in bed bored her and we could all notice that.
We tried to all be extra nice to her, but looking at it now that's kind of stupid.
You don't want others to treath you different because you're injured.I tried not to drop silences because I wanted to let her know that we were there for if she needed anything.
Everything else was normal; we had classes, way to many tests and during lunch breaks our usual girl talk only seemed to get more.
Julia now had a boyfriend. His name was Kai and he was also in our class. I honestly wasn't fond of him, but I was very happy for her. After all, this was about her, not about me.
Kai usually sat at the same table as Jacob, the one in the corner. That was really convenient for me because I could look that way when we were talking about Kai without the others noticing I was actually crushing on the boy sitting next to him.
Well, Summer and Hannah knew... they actually knew before I did, but that's what friends are for, right?
We were in the bathroom just chilling and chatting by the window when the bell rang again.'Val, we have english again! You should talk to him!' Summer clapped her hands saying this, she always seemed to do that when she was excited.
'Yeah you should, Val! Or should I call you -Ave-?'
She had an evil grin on her face when she said de last part.'Guys I'm not capable of talking to him about that! What if I ruin our friendship? Besides, I just want to focus on our project.'
They both shot me a disapproving look before they dragged me out of the bathroom.
'You should all look up poems and bring them next week tomorow. We're going to talk about what a poem must have to be touching: to make people feel happy, cofused, emotional.'She was silent for a few seconds. A few seconds to long if you asked me.
'See you next week!'
I started to pack my things when I felt warm air touch the skin of my ear.
It gave me shivers. Not the ones you get when you're cold, but one that seemed to wake up my whole body:
My heart beat faster.
My breathing became irregular.
All my senses seemed to strengthen.'Ave? Can I talk to you?'
'S-sure.' I almost pushed the words out of my mouth.
Jacob grapped my elbow and we walked out of the classroom, his hand still on my arm and sending the same fireworks through me as his touch did last time.
Did he know he had such an effect on me?
We walked around a corner to an almost empty hallway where he stopped us.
'I wanted to ask you about Sadie's surprise party? I saw my invitation and I was wondering... Are we suposed to bring dates?'
I was shaking and I knew it was a good thing he had dropped my arm when he started talking because if he'd felt me shaking he would've thought I had a seizure.
'Uhm, well, yeah, it's a danceparty so you could bring a date. You don't have to if you don't want to though.'
'Okay, thanks Ave!'
He leaned forward and I felt his warm breath on my skin again before he kissed my cheek and turned around.
'See you!'
How did he think it was okay to do something like that and then just walk away?
Wanted to throw some Jacob in here haha!
