Chapter 17

*Matt's P.O.V*

I was still looking at Macsen talking to Cassady.

I'm just here wondering on why he is talking to her. He could be telling her a secret and it's probably something that I won't be okay with.

"Matt, are you sure nothing is wrong?" Brooklyn asked still next to me.

I sighed. "I need something to drink."

And I wasn't talking about having alcohol. I am thirsty and maybe something going down my throat will soothe me a little bit.

I checked the drinks that they had and there's soda, water and some fruit punch.

Fruit punch it is then.

I poured myself a cup of the red liquid and immediately drank it.

It instantly relaxes me because it makes me forget why I'm so eager. But I still wanna know why Macsen is all up in Cassady's space and telling her something.

It could be nothing or it could be something.

Which one is it?

"Matt, come on. We're gonna play Just Dance." Jackson told me.

See, I told you that I was gonna be dragged in playing this game. Dancing isn't my forte. But it's okay.

I know that I am gonna be embarrassed.

So Jackson, Cassady, Angel and I are gonna be dancing to Power by Justin Bieber.

I'm crossing my fingers that everything will be okay and that this won't be everywhere on the internet later. But I have Macsen here so of course it's gonna be up on social media later.

The music started going and I just copied whatever the people on the tv were doing.

I try to block out all the screams that everyone else was doing but it's hard. I continued to dance until it was over and let out a huge breath.

"You did one dance and you're already tired." Jackson teased.

"Dancing takes a lot out of you." I pointed out.

What I was saying was true.

Soon enough, other people was joining in and wanted to do Just Dance as well. Good thing that I can take a break and not to anything for at least thirty minutes before I'm dragged into doing something else.

"That was quite some dancing there." Macsen told me as he approached me.

I looked at him. "I tried my best."

"Maybe I should post it and see if Alex will see it." He grinned.

"Don't post it."

"Too bad. I already did."

He is way too sneaky. He said it even though he already posted it.

Now everyone is gonna know how terrible of a dancer I am. Alex might as well not want to talk to me now.

"Trust me though, you weren't bad. You did great." He complimented me.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

I was debating on if I should ask him on why he was talking to Cassady. It just seems very fishy.

"Can I talk to you in the kitchen?" I asked him.

Macsen nodded and then we went to the kitchen. I might as well grab food in here while I can. I filled one plate up with some nacho Doritos and pretzels. Then another plate, I put some tamales on it.
