Misty and the Sons Of Garmadon (Ninjago)

Prologue

Five Months Before

"Misty your insane if you think, I'm going to let you do that!" Lloyd shouted, "Oh, so I'm the insane one!" Misty shouted back. Ever since Wu disappeared in time the best word to describe Misty's and Lloyd's relationship was dysfunctional. They got into fights almost every day but today was their biggest one yet. Misty wanted to leave Ninjago to try to find Wu but Lloyd disagreed, he wanted to stay in the city saying it still needed their protection. But Misty's loyalties even though she still wanted to protect Ninjago they laid stronger to Wu than the city. The city that had left her feeling like an outcast, while Wu had given her the home she had needed. "You don't understand Lloyd! We need to go!" Misty said desperately. "You told me once that one day I would have to choose between you or Ninjago City Misty.... and you told me you wanted me to pick the city," Lloyd said grimly, he couldn't look Misty in her eyes, the violet eyes he had fallen in love with a long time ago. "That was before this whole mess happened!" Misty said she was sounding more annoyed then she added: "The boy I fell for would never give up the chance to find our Sensei." Lloyd flinched but then answered with, "Then I guess we never really fell in love." "You don't mean that do you?" Misty said her voice was quiet. "I'm not sure, to be honest, a lot has changed, since we've first been together, maybe we should take a break from each other..." Lloyd said. "Fine then... my break will be leaving Ninjago and searching elsewhere for our Sensei," Misty said stiffly she tried to hide the hurt and sadness in her voice. "I didn't mean that... I mean..." Lloyd said but was cut off when Misty said. "And what if I come back and you've found another girl?" Lloyd could hear the shakiness in her voice. "I won't I promise..." he said. "Promise on what?" Misty said softly "I promise on your heart..."Lloyd answered. "So you realize if you break that promise you break my heart then right?" Misty asked. "Yes, I realize that," he answered. "Then Please Don't Break my heart," Misty said and she turned and walked out the door. Before she left though Lloyd said, "I'll have Pixel send you a message to return if anything major happens." And Lloyd caught what Misty said right before she made it out of hearing range. "I'll come running when I get the message, I promise on your life."
