Misty was with Cole, Jay, Zane and Lloyd walking in toward a small shop.
"Uh, I thought we were in a hurry to get to the police..." Jay asked Lloyd
"or were we just in a hurry to get away from Kai's jokes..." Misty muttered
"A quick stop. If the perp won't talk, maybe we can get something to loosen his lips." Lloyd explained and he gave Misty a wink, one that she pretended not to see.
They stopped in-front of the little store on the top was a pink neon cup with blue, green and yellow neon colored lights in the shape of steam whiffs coming out of the cup.
"Mystake's Tea Shop, I wonder what magic tea she can brew up for us." Cole said
They opened the door and a little tingling sound rang through the shop a woman was standing on a ladder stocking the shelves, and she started climbing down when the ninja came in.
"Is Mystake here?" Lloyd asked
"Never heard of her!" the woman shouted but then she turned around and saw Lloyd and quickly added "Ooh! apologies young Lloyd Garmadon I didn't recognize your voice. Oh, it's so good to see you again It's been years, oh and look you brought Misty with you, I always liked the two of you together." Mystake said cheerily.
Misty shuffled her feet awkwardly, but luckily Lloyd saved her and said "Hello, Mystake."
"I'm sorry to hear about Master Wu he was a dear friend." Mystake said
Misty stiffened she always enjoyed getting to talk to Mystake when she was younger, but she wasn't going to let her talk about Master Wu like he was gone. "You must be mistaken, Master Wu is not dead.... he's just missing." Misty said
"Misty's right what do you mean, was? We haven't given up on him we just have more urgent problems." Cole added
"We seek-" Zane began to say but was cut off when Mystake shouted "THE TEA OF TRUTH!"
"Wow, she's good..." Zane muttered
"But be forewarned...." Great here comes the part when she tells us about all the possible side affects, like nausea, lack of sleep, and sometimes death...." Misty thought to herself. " The truth can be dangerous!" Mystake added with an ominous look in her face. "Oh, never mind just a creepy forewarning...." Misty thought.
"She's also creepy...." Jay said and grabbed onto one of Cole's arms.
"Par for the course in a mystical tea shop, Jay." Cole answered
"I'll have a look in the back to see if I have any..." Mystake said and she began to turn around but all of a sudden whirled around and shouted "BUT DON"T TOUCH ANYTHING!" and she finished with a pleasant smile and left.
Misty who had been startled by Mystake's outburst stumbled backward and Lloyd had to catch her around the waist before she hit one of the shelves.
"Like I said... Cree-pee." Jay said
"You okay?" Lloyd asked Misty
"Yeah, Yeah I'm fine..." Misty said he face was flushed red with embarrassment.
Lloyd help her back to her feet, and then slide his hand away from her, after making sure she was okay.
Cole, Jay and Zane exchanged looks, that Misty caught sight of them and she glared at all of them, they knew about, Misty ending her relationship with Lloyd, and didn't need any ideas that the relationship had a possibility of starting up again. Just then Mystake returned and when she came through the beaded doorway she pushed some beads aside and Lloyd caught sight of a painting, and said. "Mystake, wait! that painting..."
"hm? Ah yes the Oni and the Dragon, but you are not ready for that tale, especially some of you..." Mystake said and he locked eyes with Misty.
"Please. We need to know." Lloyd said he hadn't noticed Mystake and Misty's silent exchange.
"It's a long tale. Do you have the time?" Mystake asked
"We only have time for a quick stop." Zane said
Lloyd took the jar from Mystake and handed it to Zane and said "Cole and Zane go to the police with the Tea of Truth, and find out who's giving the orders. Jay, Misty and I will stay here to learn more." Lloyd said
"Lloyd maybe I should go with them..." Misty began to say
"Forget it your staying with me and Jay." Lloyd said
"But Lloyd-"
"No and that's FINAL!" Lloyd said cutting Misty off, Zane and Cole left and Misty let out a frustrated huff. As Mystake said "Come my childs, to know the tale, you must drink the tea," and she lead Jay, Lloyd and a very agitated Misty into the back.
-Cole and Zane at the Police Station-
Two police officers were dragging in a man in handcuffs who was struggling and also shouted, "Ugh! I'm innocent!"
"Tell it to the Judge!" One of the police officers said
"I AM the Judge!" The man in the handcuffs shouted.
Zane had just gotten done with preparing the tea, and said "This cup contains the Tea of Truth, this other one is for you."
"Hah! Nothing like good old-fashion detective work." Cole said as Zane handed over both cups.
The "judge" had fought off the two officers and shouted "Out of my way coppers!" and ran for the door as he ran past Cole he accidentally knocked into him causing the two cups to go flying into the air.
"Stop him!" shouted one of the police man.
"No!" Cole shouted as he tried to catch the cups.
Zane meanwhile stomped on the ground and ice appeared on it, the man slipped and and caught.
Cole caught both of the cups, and said "Ha! ha! I didn't even spill a drop!" Cole cheered as him and Zane approached the door leading to prisoner.
"are you ready?' Zane asked
"Uh, of course." Cole said though he sounded unsure and he looked down at the two cups and then switched them, and Zane opened the door.
