Misty decide to visit the palace's library, perhaps some light reading would take her mind off things. She didn't make it far before she heard the Emperor's voice cut through the silence of the palace, his disapproving tone cut through the air like a blade. "What were you thinking, Harumi?"
"You are a member of the royal family of Ninjago." the Empress added
Misty shrugged and thought it's none of my business and she began to leave until she heard.
"You can't just go gallivanting off with a Ninja whenever you want it's undignified." The Emperor chastised.
"Not to mention Dangerous." The Empress cried.
Lloyd their talking about Lloyd.... he and I may not be at the best of terms at the time begin but I won't let them say these things about him, Misty thought and hide behind a pillar to listen in on the conversation.
"But he's not just a ninja--" Harumi said
"Dang right you are." Misty muttered under her breath.
"You are royalty he is not." The Emperor said
"I'm sorry I have dishonored our name and our house." Harumi relented
"No Harumi we're sorry we all have a role to play and yours is in this palace your heart mustn't interfere." The Emperor said and Harumi ran out of the room crying, that's when Misty noticed Lloyd was standing outside the door he had heard everything, when Harmui say Lloyd she gasped and ran away.
"Rumi...." Lloyd said
Then Hutchins walked up to Lloyd and said "If you know what's good for you stay away from her," and he entered the throne room.
Misty was lucky that Nya didn't see her when she walked past to talk to Lloyd "What happened?" she asked
"I can be myself but not everyone can be so lucky." Lloyd said sadly him and Nya walked off and Misty entered the throne room.
"Your highness?" She asked tentatively though there was annoyance that laced her words.
"Yes?" The Empress said.
"I've come to speak with you." Misty said
"What is it?"
"Your daughter has feelings for Lloyd Garmadon the Green Ninja...no?" Misty said softly
"yes that is correct but..." The Emperor began to say but Misty cut him off and said, "She is right Lloyd is not just a Ninja, he's an amazing leader and person, he has good morals and would do anything to protect the people of Ninjago city.You have no right to see him as just a ninja."
"how dare you speak that way to the Royal Family!" Hutchins shouted.
"She's fine, Hutchins but Misty may I ask why you speak of Lloyd in such a way? Sounds as if you also have feelings for him as well, why would be talking on my daughters behalf if you know, she loves the same person as you?" The Emperor asked
"I'm not here because of your daughter I'm here because of Lloyd, because I love him and want him to be happy, he no longer seems to be happy with me, but he seems happy with your daughter...So I'm here to help him, even if it means losing him as well." Misty explained It was true she still loved Lloyd very much, but he seemed happily in love with Rumi.
"You must love him a lot to be willing to do this for him." The Empress said
"Of course." Misty agreed.
"We will discuss this topic more with our daughter but for now please return to watching over the mask." The Emperor said
Misty nodded and said "Thank you for listening to me..."
"But may I ask what gave you the courage to come to speak with us?" The Empress said
"I was listening to my heart.... your highness." Misty replied and then turn and left.
