Game of Masks 81 (The Story of Harumi)

Little Harumi was laying on the ground of her apartment drawings of the ninja were scattered all over the ground, and she was playing with a figure of a ninja dressed in green. "At last the sword of Fortune!"

"Not so fast, ninja! I'm the Shadow Thief, and I'll never let you have it!" Harumi said she was playing with another figure too.

She made the one dressed in green answer the other with, "Then we battle because ninja never quit. Hyah!"

She then rolled on the ground and had her figures fight each other all of a sudden the building began to tremble and shake.

Harumi's mother was on the couch and reached over and grabbed her daughter's hand, just as her father ran through the door and said, "What was that?"

Rumi's mother then turned on the TV and they saw the news reporter saying, "A snake of rather unusual size is attacking Ninjago," the screened showed a pictured if the Great Devour making it's way through Ninjago.

"If you are watching this now please leave the city at once!"

The snake's body then slid past the window, and Harumi's father then said, "We need to leave now!" Her faher grabbed her hand and, all of them ran into the hallway. People were screaming and they were crowed around the elevator. "We'll take the stairwell!" Her father shouted

But when they opened the door the stairs where gone and there was fire underneath them. "Where are the stairs?" Rumi shouted

They ran back to the elevator but a man inside said, there's no room. Take the next one!""

Rumi's father stuck his foot in the doorway before it closed and pushed Rumi forward and said, "Please take her!"

"No! I want to stay with you." Rumi shouted

But both Rumi's parents pushed her forward into the elevator, as Rumi screamed, "Please. I want to stay. Mama!"

Rumi was trying to get back but her father was pushing her into the elevator, Rumi grabbed her mothers hand, and her mother said, "we'll-we'll see you when we get down I promise!"

The door shut.

Rumi was then inside the back of an ambulance as doctors wrapped her arm, "Hm, so much for the ninja." one of then said,

"Did you see that thing? Lord Garmadon single-handedly destroyed it, he's the real hero." The other said

A picture blew up against the female's doctors leg, and she picked it up and turned to Rumi, and said, "Brave little girl you are. Where are your parent's child?" She looked down at the picture it was of a Rumi and her parents. Rumi said nothing and just continued to stare blankly as the woman continued, "Do you have a name?" Still silence, "Well aren't you the quiet one."

-End of Flash Back-

Harumi snapped out of her memories as she glared at Lloyd in front of her. He turned around and said, "The Oni Temple.

Rumi then placed on a smile as they continued walking, she thought to herself, I have him wrapped around my finger... he'd do anything I say, I've even gotten him to treat his own girlfriend like dirt. she looked back at Misty who looked empty almost her eyes dull, the stupid crystal mask of her's had broken when they fell into the water. She sneered as she looked at Misty, she had been such a stronger warrior when she had first met her, she had expected it would be hard to beat the Master of Crystal... who knew all it took to beat her was to inflict on her a broken heart. What weakness Rumi thought to herself, but quickly placed on a concern and caring look when Misty looked up after feeling Rumi's gaze on her.

Misty shot her a glare that was filled with such suspicions and dislike Rumi felt as if Misty could see straight through her, even if she did it didn't matter, Lloyd would never believe her. She still has some fight left in her... lets see hm much longer she can last. Rumi thought cruelly.
