They tell me that I'm "so pretty" and that "my blue-green eyes are such a fascinating contrast to my dark hair" and all of these very kind words that I really do appreciate, please don't get me wrong.
It's just that it's so hard to believe that let alone think the same way about yourself when you spent a big part of your life just putting yourself, your actions and your appearance down for literally anything.
But I'm going to get there, I know that.
I still have to learn so much and life has to offer so much to me.
And I'm grateful for that.
