The rest of the after noon I sat on the bench looking around at the field. Now I knew why Carl looked. It brought make memories and it gave you the feeling that you were safe. "I brought you some dinner." Hunter said coming next to me. It was plain beans and a handful of chips.

"Thanks," I faked smiled then looked at the ground, thinking more.

"Is their something wrong?" Hunter asked, putting the plate down, taking my hand.

"No I'm fine," I sighed eating one of the chips, but I wasn't hungry. "I don't know what to do with my life anymore."

"But were safe now, you don't need to be scared." Hunter pointed out, sighing. "Our life is a battle now you know that right?" He asked me, smiling. And that smile was just so adorable, that I had to smile and this time it wasn't fake.

The next morning when it was breakfast time I didn't go to breakfast. I sat in my room thinking. About anything really. Lately I've been thinking 24/7. "Knock, Knock." A cherry Blondie said walking into my cell. "You aren't going to breakfast?" Tyler asked sitting next to me.

"No, not hungry today." I shrugged.

Tyler took my hand and looked me into the eyes. "It's okay I promise." She smiled widely, showing her yellowish-whitish teeth. For the world now I'm surprised that she still had white teeth.

"Come on let's go for a walk. I got a surprise for you." Tyler said standing up, still holding my hand.

I sighed then stood up. It looked like we were sneaking out because she made sure nobody saw us. We walked into the side alleyway. It was in the prison but no one ever came here. On the table was a bottle with a label that wasn't readable. Then a pack of weed stood on the table. "Tyler what is this?" I asked smiling, for the first time in a while.

"I always knew you liked this stuff so I got you them." She smiled, embracing me, holding onto my chin. "Come on I got you Jack Daniels. I know it isn't a lot, but it's something."

Before I knew it I was chugging down the Jack Daniels shit. It had a strong taste at first, but it was good. Tyler got a butt of weed and lit it. Then handed it to me while she got her own. The feeling that went through me was amazing. As I blew out the smoke, my voice was called. "Shit." I coughed, hiding the pack.

"Carl?" A voice I didn't want to hear say. It was Lexi-Anne.

"Yeah?" I said, too kindly.

"Uhm, your dad wanted you. He's in courtyard." She saw Tyler and looked at the ground. "Y'know I could just tell him your too busy right now." Lexi was about to walk away but I stopped her.

"No. It's fine. I'm not busy at all." I smiled, which was fake.

"I'll be back later." I hollered to Tyler, then walked off with Lexi-Anne.

"How was your day so far?" I asked her, making conversation.

"It was alright. I just woke up a little while ago. How's was yours?" She asked, being kind.

"It was great actually. And I apologize about yesterday. I was such a dick." I said, then laughed with Lexi when we realized what I said.

"I kind of liked it," She smirked as we saw my dad coming up to us.

"Were going on a run. Lexi, we already informed Hunter. Now let's go." My dad said quickly as we started walking towards the green Honda.
