Blake watched from the couch as Eleven paced on the porch, waiting for Mike to show. The older girl sighed, closing her book and went over to the door frame, knocking on it before she said, "Ellie, maybe he's held up somewhere. Why don't you call him?"

"Yeah," El gulped, walking past her and going to the phone that resided on the kitchen wall. Hopper looked at his daughters from the counter, tilting his head and saying, "Hey. Is everything okay?"

"Yes," The telekinetic girl answered, typing in Mike's house number and then walking into her room. Hopper looked at Blake, who shrugged, making her way over to him and pouring herself another cup of coffee.

Hopper grimaced, looking at the girl as he said, "You know, I heard your little boy toy leave this morning."

"Boy toy? That's what you're calling him now? I thought you were particularly fond of "Boy with awful hair who is corrupting my daughter"?" Blake sarcastically questioned, leaning on the counter next to her father. Jim sighed, running a hand through his beard, "Don't make me give you two a talk."

Blake gave him a grin, putting a hand on his shoulder, "He just got in a fight with his dad so he came over."

"And the night before?" Jim's eyes widened, a look of insanity in them. Blake simply shrugged, taking a sip of her drink and said, "Would you like me to come up with an elaborate lie so you don't have an aneurysm?"

Hopper groaned, shifting uncomfortably making Blake chuckle as he said, "I just don't want to be a grandpa yet. I'm still an eligible bachelor."

"If you stopped pining for Joyce, maybe you would be," Blake snorted and the man turned red in embarrassment.

Their conversation was cut short when El walked out of her room, a confused look on her face as she put the phone back on the receiver making Hopper say, "What's going on?"

El didn't answer, walking back into her room and slamming the door shut with her powers. Blake looked at her father, noticing the smug look on his face and said, "You did something, didn't you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," The man's grin got wider and Blake scoffed, saying, "Well, the shit-eating grin on your face says otherwise."

Blake set her coffee on the table, pushing her father's shoulder as he continued to eat his cereal and walked over to El's room, knocking on the door. She faintly heard El say to come in, the girl knowing it was her and Blake walked in, immediately shutting the door behind her and joining Eleven on her bed.

"What's wrong, Ellie?" Blake questioned and El looked to her, saying, "Do boyfriends lie?"

Blake's eyebrows rose to her hairline and then narrowed her eyes, "What did Mike do?"
