Within minutes everything was tumbling down.
The emergency alarm had been put on, screaming was getting louder and Blake's radio signal went out when she needed it the most. The girl didn't know what to do.
She was separated from everyone.
Gunshots erupted as the squealing and yelling were getting closer, so she made a run for it. Her legs pumped viciously, already starting to burn as the power in the whole facility shut down.
"Shit," She cursed to herself, hearing another ungodly roar- which unbeknownst to her, Steve and the group of kids, who were running towards the lab, also heard from a mile away. Blake made her way to a door, letting a breath out and readying her bat before opening it cautiously.
"Oh my God," She whispered, seeing all the dead bodies scattered on the floor.
Before she could take another step, a squeal erupted from in front of her as demodogs ran down the the opposite hall. She quickly hid behind a corner, holding the bat closer, but not fully to her chest. After a minute of not hearing anything, Blake slowly peeked her head around the corner to see nothing.
She made her way down the hallway, trying not to step in blood, and quickly made her way to where the group was last.
"Shit," She murmured entering the now empty room. Blake ran a hand through her hair, trying to think of where they could be. "Their greatest bet would have been to try and make it downstairs."
Blake nodded to herself, making her way to the stairwell and opening the door just enough so she could get through. She had just gotten down two flights of stairs when she started to hear a voice.
"Bob?" She whispered loudly, enough for the man who was one flight below her to look up and say, "Blake?"
The girl made her way down to the man, breathing out a sigh of relief, "Thank God. Where are the others?"
"They're back in one of the security rooms. I'm going to turn the power back- Yes, Hopper, she's with me." Bob started talking with the man who radioed in midst his conversation, "He wants to know if you want to go with them, he'll come back and get you."
Blake shook her head, "No, I'll stay with you. You'll need backup."
They made their way down the stairs, Bob holding the gun out in front of him as Blake had the barbed wire bat ready to swing. Blake looked at the gun, saying. "No offense, Bob, but do you even know how to shoot a gun?"
