"Oh no!" Iida yelled looking at his watch.
"What's wrong Iida-Kun?" Midoriya asked with a confused expression on his face.
"It's past curfew! We better hurry!" Iida replied before running.
"Seriously?!" Uraraka complained before running as well followed by the others.

By the time they got back it was already 12 in the morning.
"Was it really necessary to run?" Kirishima complained. All six of them were panting heavily as they approach the door. Iida opened it to find Aizawa who looked a bit angry.
"Sensai?!"
Aizawa signaled them to come inside, Shoto and the others sat on the couch.
"Explain yourselves" Aizawa demanded.
Shoto raised his hand a bit "I was the one who decided to leave and they followed me, I should've never left in the first place" he said.

Aizawa crossed his arms "Why did you leave?".
Shoto explained everything, about how he wanted revenge, the possibility that the league is involved and most importantly, the possibility that his mother was alive.

"The nurse at the hospital also showed me where they put her, when she opened the body bag there was nothing besides this mud-like substance"

"Mud-like substance?" Aizawa questioned. Yaoyorozu took out a small container containing the weird substance and handed it over to Aizawa.
"I've seen this substance before..." he stated as he examined the container.
"Where?!" Midoriya asked.
Aizawa handed the container back to Yaoyorozu "When the villains attacked the training camp, I fought the blue flames user guy. I was about to catch him with my scarf but then his body liquified, it must be his quirk".

"The nurse told me about the doctors saying that her body also liquifying" Shoto stated.
"Clones maybe?" Midoriya muttered, it was loud enough so others can hear.
"Who is capable of making clones in the league?" Uraraka questioned.
"We'll discuss about this tomorrow after school. It's possible that your mothers alive but that doesn't mean you can act on your own, even if you have your heroes license. Everyone got to bed" Aizawa said signaling them to leave.

Shoto went upstairs to his room, he locked the door and laid down on his futon. He looked at his phone to find a message from his father.

What does this bastard want?

Bastard: 'I've received news about your mother, do you know if she's okay?'

Why do you care?

Shoto: 'I don't know, why do you care?'

Bastard: 'Come by the house after school, we need to discuss about some stuff'

Shoto didn't respond to the message, he just turned off his phone and slowly fell asleep.

The next day:

Shoto woke up to the sound of his alarm, he got up, changed into uniform and headed off to school.

Classes went by quickly, Shoto got changed out of his uniform and headed towards his old place.
He opened the door to find Fuyumi "Shoto! I missed you!" She said while hugging the teen. "I missed you too" Shoto replied returning the hug.
"Where is he?" Shoto asked.
"He's waiting for you in his office" Fuyumi replied.

Fuyumi doesn't know about mom?

Shoto walked down the halls, passing by the training room.
"Pathetic! How will you beat All Might if your this weak?!"
He continued down the hall ignoring any bad memories.

"What did you want to talk about?" Shoto asked in an annoyed tone as he entered the office.
"Let's go to the park, we'll talk there" Enji replied.

Park?!

The two headed to a nearby park, Shoto and Enji sat on a bench near a lake.

"I'm sorry" Enji said breaking the silence, Shoto didn't reply.

"I'm sorry for everything" Enji's voice sounded desperate.

This bastard.

"Sorry? Really?! You think a 'sorry' is gonna change everything?!" Shoto yelled, Enji had his eyes widen as he stared at his son.

"No, I don't expect it to change anythi-"

"Then why apologize?!" Shoto asked standing up from the bench.

"I...want to change..." Enji replied looking away.

"Change...?" Shoto's voice was now calm.

"Yes! I want to make up for everything I've done! To your mother, you and everyone else!"

Bullshit!

"Listen you bastard! It's too late to change! All the hell you put me and mom through, not to mention Touya! You abused mom! You abused me! All that training you put me through, all the times I beg for you to stop...You never listened so don't expect me to listen or care! Oh and did I mention that you put mom into a mental hospital?! Because of that she can be dead or be with villains right now!" Shoto said before walking away, Enji sat there and looked down. He's right...Rei's either dead or with villains because of me Enji thought to himself.

Shoto walked to the exit of the park not knowing that he's being followed. He continued walking until a hand touched his shoulder. He quickly turned around to see Midoriya, Iida, Yaoyorozu, Uraraka and Kirishima.
"What are you guys doing here?!" Shoto asked.
"We followed you and...we heard your conversation with Endeavor..." Kirishima replied.
"What?!" Shoto raised his voice a bit.
"We didn't mean to eavesdrop! We just wanted to make sure you were okay!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"Aizawa actually sent us to get you, he's allowing us to help with the investigation" Iida stated.

Shoto and the rest walked back to the dorms.
"Todoroki-Kun?" Iida asked.
"What is it?" Shoto replied.
"What you said to Endeavor...was it all true?".
Shoto continued to walk "I'll tell you guys when we get there".

Aizawa was waiting for them back at the dorms with his laptop "Let's investigate at the school" he said.
"Did you find anything new?" Shoto asked.
"Not exactly" Aizawa replied.
"What does that mean?" Uraraka questioned.

They arrived at the school and headed towards the teachers office. Everyone took their seats at a table "Todoroki, we need your mothers backstory" Aizawa stated.
"My moms backstory?!"
"Yes, I believe we can get some information outta there. You don't have to share too much if you don't want to" he replied before taking his seat as well.

"It's best if I tell the whole story"
