Chapter 7

"It's best if I tell the whole story"

Everyone sat in the table and waited patiently for the teen to begin telling the story.

"My old man has a strong desire to rise in the world. Since he couldn't surpass All Might, he moved on to his next plan...You guys heard of quirk marriages, right?" Midoriya and Aizawa nodded but the rest didn't.
"Choosing a spouse based only on strengthening your own quirk and passing it onto your children, forcing people into marriage, He forced my mother into marriage...He was trying to fulfill his own desire by raising me to be a hero to surpass All Might" The room was silent, everyone had shocked expressions on their faces.
"When my quirk manifested I was only five years old, my father forced me into brutal training...my mother tried to stop him but...he abused her...and me...not to mention my older brother who left and never came back. It got so bad to a point my mother went crazy, one night I woke up and noticed the lights of the kitchen were on so I walked there. "Your left side is unbearable' that's what she said before she poured boiling water at my face...ever since that day, my father put her in a mental hospital...it was his fault...my brother running away was his fault...he apologized for everything but...it already too late..." Shoto looked away from the stares he was given, Aizawa sighed before speaking.

"Are you going to forgive him?" He asked.

Everyone gave him confused stares.

"Your joking?!" Kirishima said.

"What?! Did you not hear what I said? Of course I'm not gonna forgive him! Not after everything he's done! It's his fault my mothers either dead or with villains!" Shoto said crossing his arms and looking away.

"He's right Sensai, you can't just straight up forgive someone like that" Kirshima stated.

"I know that but right know we have to focus on the villains" Aizawa said taking out a folder. "Here are photos of the members of the league we know of so far" he said separating the photos.

A certain photo got Shoto's attention "Who's this? He doesn't have a name as well as this guy" Shoto asked picking up the two photos.

"We don't know their identity's yet, we couldn't figure it out with all those scars and the mask. All we know is that the scar guy goes by the name 'Dabi' and the other goes by the name 'twice'" Aizawa replied.

"That's sad...Shoto Todoroki..."

Dabi was the one that liquified just like mom...I saw him use blue flames and I doubt he has two quirks because he would've used them during that battle. Someone else in the league bust have a cloning quirk but who...

Shoto put down the photo and looked at the others, they all had their information and their quirks. The only ones missing were a villain named 'Twice' and 'Dabi'. Shoto picked up the villain with the mask photo and looked at the information. Twice...Twice...clone...!

"This villain has the ability to make clones!" Shoto said jumping up from his seat. Everyone sitting at the table turned their attention to the teen. "His name does sound like a guy with a clone quirk" Midoriya stated. Shoto opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by his phone ringing.

"Twice does sound like he had two personalities"

He took the phone out of his pocket and opened the message he received. It was from a random number, It read:

'Your mom is alive, if you want her back then meet me here [location]'

Shoto widened his eyes "Guys..."

"Maybe his quirk is having two personal-" Midoriya was cut off buy Shoto "Guys!".

Everyone looked over to the teen with confused expressions "I got a message!" Shoto laughed like a maniac.

"What the hells so funny?" Aizawa asked looking a bit frightened. Shoto showed them the message "It's gotta be a trap" Yaoyorozu said, the others agreed. "What if it isn't?" Shoto protested.
"You better not be thinking about going" Aizawa said crossing his arms.
"What?! Why would I do som-I am" Shoto admitted.
"What if it's a trap?! what if you get killed?!" Aizawa scolded.
"Yeah but-" Shoto was cut off by Kirishima "How did the villain know your number anyways?" He asked.
"I don't know, why don't you ask him?" Shoto replied before facing Aizawa "Anyways as I was saying, I have a plan..."

Kirishima started typing:

'How do you know this number?'

The phone started ringing and everyone froze.
"Should we answer?" Iida asked.
"Todoroki here!" Kirshima said handing the phone to Shoto. He looked at Aizawa and he nodded signaling him to answer the phone call. Shoto hesitatingly answered and put the phone on speaker so everyone can hear.

"Hello?" Shoto said into the mic, everyone stayed quiet and waited for a response.

"Todoroki...Shoto..." a mysterious man said.
"Yeah yeah it's me, what do you want? Where is my mother?" Shoto said sounding a bit annoyed.
"Shes with me right now and she's fine...so, you gonna meet me or what?" He asked, Shoto looked over to Aizawa, he nodded signaling him that it's okay to tell him.
"Yeah I'm going...if I find a single scratch on her, I swear to god I'm gon-" The villain cut Shoto off.
"Shoto...I'm not gonna hurt mom...I'll never hurt her, ever..." The man said, everyone froze.
"What the hell are you talking about...?" Shoto asked.
"Shoto! Honey! It me! Your mother!" A familiar voice said through the phone.
"Mom?! A-Are you okay?! D-Did he hurt you?! Wait, Y-Your alive...?!" Shoto repeatedly asked questions.
"Yes! I'm okay! I'm with Touya right now..." She said.
"Huh?!" Shoto wore a confused expression over his face.
"Shoto...meet me here at this spot, tomorrow, we have to talk about some stuff" The man claiming to be 'Touya' said.
"Whoever you are...I'll be there tomorrow and I'll take her back!" Shoto replied before hanging up.

"You guys go back to your rooms, I'll handle the rest" Aizawa said before leaving the room.

Shoto and the others made their way to the dorms.
"What the hell just happened back there?" Midoriya questioned.
"Who's Touya?" Uraraka asked.
"Isn't he the one who ran away? Touya Todoroki?" Kirishima asked.
"I don't know" Shoto replied.

After all these years...Touya...Wait...why on earth would you kidnap mom? Wait! Your a villain now?!

The students arrived, Shoto went straight to his room and collapsed on his futon. It was Friday meaning there was no school tomorrow so it didn't matter if he slept late but Shoto knocked out after his head hit that pillow.
