A Hero

Chapter 12

"Look father! I got my quirk!" The child proudly said, the father grinned "Come with me" He lead the child to a different room, the training room.
"Blue flames...use it" The father demanded "Use it? But...it hurts when I use it" The child replied looking at his hands "I don't care! You will be the one! You will be my greatest masterpiece!" The child was frightened "Use it Touya!" The father demanded. Young Touya shot out a wave of blue flames from his right hand, burning his skin in process "Again" The father demanded, the boy listened and shot out another wave of blue flames this time from his left hand.

"Again"

Touya looked down at his arms, they were a bit burnt "Again!" The father demanded "I-I can't...I-It hurts" Touya replied before getting punched in the stomach "Your skin is sensitive to the heat...another failure" Enji picked up his son "You process greater fire power than me..." Gripping his stomach, the boy managed to stand up "Again" The father demanded, Touya widened his eyes "Do as I say!" The boy lifted his left hand and shot out another wave of blue flames.
"Again!"

Another.

"Again!"

Another.

"Again!"

Training was everyday until Shoto was born, once he got his quirk Enji gave up on Touya and continued his training with his new 'creation'.
"Leave Shoto alone! He's still a kid!" Touya yelled shielding the boy behind him.
"Get out of my way Touya!" Enji yelled before grabbing the collar of his shirt and punching him in the stomach. "Big brother!" The boy ran to Touya's aid but was stopped by Enji who dragged him into the training room. "I'm sorry...Shoto..." Was all Touya can say before passing out.
This continued for years until Touya finally snapped.

"I'm leaving! I'm sick and tired of this shit!"
"Leave then! Don't come back! I don't need another failure!"
"Don't you dare hurt Shoto you hear! I'll kill you if you do!"

Back to present day:

"Touya! Don't!" Enji yelled running towards his son.

What is this feeling...I'm dying yet I feel so...so calm....

Enji ran through the flames, he ignored the burns and ran straight through to find his son sitting on his knees looking up to the sky.

"Touya!" He called out shaking him softly, Touya looked over to him before shooting flames towards him, Enji barley dodged "Please stop this!" He begged, Touya looked over to him before standing up "Stop this? I asked for you to stop but you didn't listen...so, why should I listen?" He said walking slowly towards the hero "Ever since that day...I was always going to kill you" Touya shot another wave of blue flames towards Endeavor "You'll die if you don't stop! You'll burn! Please Touya!" The Hero pleaded dodging the attack "Back then you never told me to stop, you kept saying 'again' even though my body couldn't handle it" Touya shot another wave towards the Hero "Back then I didn't care! But I do now!" Touya flinched "I've realized my mistakes! I don't expect anyone to forgive me!" Touya stopped attacking "You've realized your mistake?" He asked, the pro hero nodded "Everything I did back then was wrong, I should've never done those thin-" Enji was cut off by Touya laughing.
"After all those years...hehe...after all those damn fucking years now you realize what you've done was wrong!" Enji didn't reply.
"After I ran away, a week after that...I was about to die of starvation until I met Stain. I told him about how I got into this situation...He helped me and told me about his ideals, I followed him and agreed with what he said" As Touya was speaking, the flames were slowly disappearing "After he was captured, I joined the league since they claimed to be a follower of Stain".
"Touya..." Enji muttered.
"I hate you...I hate you so much...I want to kill-No, I want me and Shoto to kill you".
"Touya...you don't have to do this...we can always start over and be a normal family" Enji said walking towards his son and gave him a hug.
"Father?"
"I'm sorry Touya...I'm so so sorry...for everything..." Enji said pulling his son closer to him. The other heroes decided to give them their space although if Touya surrenders he'll have to pay for his crimes.

"Todoroki!"
"Todoroki-Kun!"
"Hey!"
The teen opened his eyes to find himself surrounded by his classmates "Thank goodness!" Midoriya said "W-What happened?" Shoto asked sitting up gripping his head. "You were knocked out by that nomu! Are you okay?!" Iida asked worriedly, Shoto nodded "Where's the nomu?" He asked. "All of us took care of him, the villains retreated as well" Kirishima replied.
With the help of his classmates, Shoto stood up.
Everyone walked outside the building, the fist thing they saw was Endeavor holding Touya close to him. Shoto slowly walked towards them "Sho? Is that you?" Touya asked "Yes, it's me" Shoto replied kneeling down.
"I'm sorry...I didn't want to hurt you yet I-" Touya was cut off by Shoto "Blinded by a selfish desire for revenge...I've been there before and I know how narrow your field of vision can get...I forgive you" Touya widened his eyes and let out a small smile "I surrender" he said. "Since your my son they might make an acceptation for you. You haven't killed anyone, right? Enji asked "The only person I wanted to kill was you" Touya said.

2 days later: The villains hideout

"Damn it!" Shigaraki scoffed "Is there something bothering you Shigaraki Tomura?" Kurogiri asked "Dabi is on their side and Shoto betrayed us! Both of them betrayed us!" Shigaraki replied scratching his neck violently "Why don't we get rid of them, Dabi and Shoto have valuable information about us" Compress suggested. "Oh yeah, how are we going to do that?" Magna replied "It won't be easy but I've got a plan". Compress told his plan to the league, many were satisfied with it. Shoto didn't have much information since he was new so their only target was Touya Todoroki "We strike tonight, get ready" Shigaraki said.

Same time: Todoroki Household

"T-Touya?! I-Is that really you?!" Fuyumi asked running towards him giving him a hug "Its been a while hasn't it Fu?" He said returning the hug. Rei stepped out of her room "Touya?! I'm so glad your okay!" She joined in on the hug. Natsuo came home and saw the three "I'm ho-BIG BRO!" He said running up towards him. The four hugged each other for what seemed like hours but it was a few minutes. Shoto came by the house to join them for dinner, Enji was given permission to spend time with his family so he joined as well.

A normal...happy family Fuyumi thought to herself. Everyone was happy, everyone was smiling and laughing. No more screams and cries, it was just laughter.
