Over where the heart burned down...
Beating silently in the rain...
Blood covering the very face that was never known...
Eyes sinking into a reality...
Death can only explain the aftermath to me...
...
Watching the clouds fall down...
Where the wind howls,
And the thunder gathers around...
My face,
The first thing you touch is my face...
The very face that is hidden from beauty...
Telling all that it's not alright...
"Why are you so ugly?"
They don't say it,
But its in their eyes...
Or is it my mind?
...
I need answers!
But the clock still stares at me...
Time is running shorter than a mini skirt...
I just want to see...
...
I cough because of the dust around me...
Too many walking around and not cleansed...
They need to be baptized!
Take the shadow out of their lungs,
And breathe a new river!
Or is it just me?
...
Is my field just a yard with moles...
People digging to find the real me?
Maybe I haven't ventured enough...
Maybe my world is just another excuse...
From the life that could be...
One less thing to worry about...
Another headache sailing past my window...
While I rot in confinement...
...
Give me the sword to strike fear...
So it doesn't kill me...
Let it incinerate...
Purgatory forever.
