“Inferno!” Someone called in a sweet, psychotic voice. Inferno went stiff.

“Inferno!” Someone called again. Inferno turned paler, if possible.

Come here. NOW.” Inferno mouthed as he pulled up a trap door from the floor. In one swift movement, I had leaped into it, and landed on my feet like a cat. Taylor was right behind me, followed by Inferno closing the trap door and locking it.

Inferno ushered us into an underground tunnel. He took the lead, and opened at door camouflaged into the sides of the tunnel. Inferno stepped inside the door, disappearing. Treading at the entrance, I looked around seeing that this was like an ordinary room.

I saw Inferno crouched over something- someone.

“Dad!” Inferno whisper-yelled. I came closer to the figure- it was a man with black hair.

The man bolted up-right, a ring of fire surrounding him. He saw Inferno, and the fire extinguished. Inferno glanced back at us.

“This is my dad, Oren.” Inferno declared. I stared at Oren. Oren looked up at me, and looked utterly flabbergasted. Oren let out an incoherent sound.

“You...” Oren gasped.

“Dad?” I asked.

“Inferno!” The voice from earlier called. Oren and Inferno went wan. The door thumped, and it creaked open. A girl with gleaming, wicked, blue eyes stood in the doorway. Pssyyychhooooo.

“Hi sweetie. I see you have brought guests too. And who’s that?” The girl asked, licking her lips as she stared at Taylor. I growled. Mate, my wolf said to me in my head. The girl puckered her lips.

“Aw, so he’s your mate? Too bad. So sad that you two are just werewolves.” The girl commented, tsking. It took every inch of my strength to try not to attack her.

“Shut. Up!” I hollered, infuriated. Surprisingly, she did, with a shocked expression. I prowled to her, glared daggers at her. “Don’t move.”

“You do not know who I am.” Neither do I.  The girl showed fear in her eyes. “Someone tell me who the hell is this and what the hell is going on!”

“The Water Kingdom invaded our town. She is General Slive’s daughter, Alyssia. I have to get back to the Fire Kingdom, my kingdom.” Oren answered.

“What!?!” Inferno and I yelled in unison. Oren’s eyes twinkled with amusement.

“I am the Prince of Fire, and the King, my dad, let me stay here, only when Inferno turns 18,” Oren explained. I turned to Alyssia, almost completely forgetting her existence.

“You will not ever utter a word of what has happened just now, nor will you communicate in any way to anything.” I ordered. Alyssia nodded frantically. “Now go away and never come near us EVER again.”

Alyssia scurried away.

I turned to Oren.

“Where is my mom, Cortesia?” I questioned.

“She is still the Princess of the Water Kingdom because her parents haven’t died. Yet. Each element is divided into two kingdoms; The Royal Kingdom and The Duel Kingdom. The Royal Kingdom is where the Wolf Bender with the royal blood gets to be the heir of that kingdom. The Duel Kingdom is the place where you have to fight in order to be the King or Queen of that Kingdom. By the age of 18, young men and women fight in The Duel Kingdom; to be the next heir of it.

It’s a fight to death match. I got lucky enough to be born in The Royal Kingdom. Cortesia is in The Royal Kingdom.” Oren explained.

“Which one is the evilest?” Taylor asked.
