I will not die but live, and will proclaim
what the Lord has done. Psalm 118:17
I pulled the van into the garage, about 30 minutes after we had left St. Joseph's Hospital. "All right," I said. "Everyone out."
"So, when are you going to take your new Sports Car on a drive, Señorita?" José asked, while he got out of the van.
"Well, I had won it three weeks ago, and I haven't been at home to use it," I said. I shut the van door, before starting to walk towards the house.
"Matthew has been driving her around in his truck, because she needed to do her school work and get ready to graduate this upcoming May," Jason said, as he followed me to the house.
I walked to the door and looked at them, a grin on my face. "I'm going to take a shower. Make yourself useful or comfortable. You can't do both"
"I'll choose comfort while you take your shower," Jessica said, following me into the house, followed by everyone else.
"I knew that you would," I replied. I walked to the stairs that was in the back of the kitchen/dining area and started to walk up them.
"See you in a bit, then," Jessica said, as I disappeared around the corner of the steps.
