Our Heaven

Silver slivers stuck in my brain;

Sunk through my eyes and stinging; like rain.

Insanity reaches, I feel it’s clinging grasp;

When it finally touches; I know I’ll be trapped.

Spare me a savior; Save me from birth;

Grant me serenity; that I won’t ever find on Earth.

Hold me to tranquil moments that leave no repeat;

We have plenty of room; and plenty to eat.

Space to run from the reflections of light;

Places to hide from the monsters of night.

Weightlessly we can float on seas of gold,

Not a moment for life; no time to grow old.

Keep your priorities set in the front of your mind;

Let’s remember the days I called the world mine.

Peacefully dream as the days mesh together;

And our disappearance will be pondered forever.

But dwelling deep in the corners of our place;

They’ll never find a trace of our escape.
