I’ll wear my scars like jewels of a king;

I’m not afraid of the cold’s deadly sting.

My lips may be blue; my eyes may be glazed,

Bu this is the price to escape through the maze.

Heavy heart held at the dusk of a day,

Foggy skies cover the ground in the same way.

Gravity pulls me down to the position of prayer,

Colors collide and all I can do is stare.

For once I wish I could feel your touch again,

Even to relive those torturing words from your lips,

And use them to strangle my bleeding heart as it skips.
