Original Draft:

Confusion; Frustration;

Do I say it?

Do I mean it?

This wanting, so deep;

Further down than my shallow flesh;

Our lips crash together

And dance in the moonlit glow.

But sweet; your hand on my hip.

Not pressuring, but enough to build

My passionate sigh.

I dismiss my silly silver butterflies

And I smile.

And we laugh;

The music of our lazy days.

Second Draft:

Confusion; Frustration.

Do I say it?

Do I mean it?

A sunset of rainbow colors;

The moon sees our every move.

Our lips crash together

And dance in the moonlit glow.

Sighing sweetly as the stars shimmer.

Cloudy skies sprinkle snow;

As we're warm in each other's company.

I dismiss my silly silver butterflies.

And I smile.

As we laugh;

The music of our lazy days.
