(Hook pov)

After finding Emma, Henry grabs her hand and practically ran to Granny's. I had to run to catch them. At first I thought maybe I should give the lad some time alone with his mom, but I have been keeping him for six months. I'm practically his dad.

So I chased after them and found them at a booths in Granny's. After catching my breath I took the empty seat across from Emma.

"Next time," I say still catching my breath, "let's enjoy the stroll to Granny's."

"Hook I play video games all day and I'm in better shape then you." Says Henry.

"Well you also 200 years younger then me."

He laughs at that and Emma grins. Ruby comes up to take our order and notices Emma. She squeals and hugs her tightly, glad to see that she's back. We all order hot chocolate, with cinnamon of corse because it's a charming family tradition they say.

"So can you explain to me how you came upon my ship?" I ask with a smirk.

She glances over at Henry and then back at me, "Its kind of a long story and I need to see my mom and dad right now. I will tell you later though."

"Well let's go give you mother a heart attack." I say. They look at me like I'm crazy, "because she missed you love." I explain.

"Oh yeah, after she hugs me I'm probably 'grounded' for life." Says Emma.

Henry jumps up excitedly, "You get to see baby Neal!"

Emma stands up, "Alright kid, let's go home."

I stay in the booth sipping my cocoa while they get up. She starts to walk towards the door but turns around and glances at me.

"Killian? You coming?" She asks.

"Ah, it's your family love."

She tilts her head and gives me a 'seriously?' look. Then she walks over and pulls me out of the booth.

"Come on pirate." She says as we walk to the door, her arm around my shoulder.

Henry's grin couldn't get any larger. He takes his moms other hand and this time we don't run, much to my pleasure.

Another question pops into my mind: Why was Swan gone so bloody dang long? What was she doing? And why won't she tell me?

"So swan, can you explain your little journey to me?" I asked with my signature smirk.

She stays quiet, thinking over her answer then says, "I needed to find my home."

"Did you?" I ask.

She doesn't answer for what feels like an eternity. She stares at the ground as we continue walking in silence. I look down at the road also, thinking about how much I truly missed her while she was gone. The sixth month was the hardest. We all realized that it had been half a year since we had seen or talked to her. She didn't even contact us on the cell phone device.

I knew she would be back eventually, but I was beginning to wonder if I would still be her when she did. I mean with all the bad things that happen around here I'm surprised I haven't been killed yet. Let's be honest people either love me or hate me. There just a very few in the middle, like David.

Emma turns her head towards me and gazes at my face. I take my eyes off the ground and meet her gaze. It's impossible to look away. Her eyes are greener then ever in the darkening sky.
