dear Nozomi,

im writing this after our game against Ichidaisan. we lost. we've been eliminated from the tournament.

i know it's not anyone's fault specifically, but i feel like i should have done more, you know? i should have talked to he coach about switching in earlier. even though i slowed down their momentum, we weren't able to score any runs and lost at 3-5.

right now, we're watching the Teito-Inashiro game. but i felt like i needed to write to you. it calmed me down a bit.

also, could you believe that the ace of Sankou, the team we lost to, asked me to show him the grip of my pitch? how rude! we just lost to them, what right did he have?

i am now following the manga so i don't just update once a week if i followed the anime. so there will be anime spoilers from here on out for act 2 :)

also i need to buckle down and continue writing. i only have 2 more prewritten chapters :/
