Chapter 6: The Beach

Tom's POV:

We finally got there, and Y/N was asleep and leaning her head on my shoulder. She felt warm and it was soothing to feel physical contact with her. But, that's creepy. I placed my hand on her cheek to wake her. "Y/N, we are here. Time to wake up." I said, chuckling. She groaned and stretched, making her way behind me out of the car. Tord was on his phone, and Edd was unloading the car. Matt shook Y/N and was yelling in her tired eyes. "OMG LETS GO GET ICE CREAM! I CAN'T WAIT MUCH LONGER IMA EXPLODE!" He yelled, startling Y/N a bit. "Oh, alright. I'll go with you." She said, smiling. "Hey, get me black raspberry with chocolate please," She smiled in return and walked to the ice cream shop hand-in-hand with Matt.

Your POV:

Matt grabbed my hand and pulled me into the parlor. The line was surprisingly short and we got up to the front. "I'll have birthday cake with extra sprinkles!" Matt asked as the cashier gave him a funny look. Geez, so much sugar. "I'll get 2 black raspberry chocolate, both double scoops," I asked and she got that pretty quickly. We grabbed our ice cream and ran out giggling. Tord looked at us and smiled, offering to take my hand into the ocean. He is so kind sometimes, but I had to reject him. "I have to give this ice cream to Tommie, but then I'll join you! I promise, hold on." I rushed to find Tom but couldn't see him. "He's out there quite a ways, he swam out to the deep end. Might as well go out there with me." He reached his hand for me to grab and I took it, Holding both ice creams in one hand.

Edd's POV:

I was out there with Tom and we were just talking. Its been a while since we just got time alone together. "What do you think of Y/N?" I asked him, seeing a smile grow on his face. "She's... alright I guess. His cheeks started to glow a light pink. I don't see Tom that happy anymore, but it sure seemed that she made him happy. "Do you like her or something?" I asked, just curious... 

"Yeah, I guess I do." There was a small silence. "Well, D-Do you love her?" I asked, both excited and nervous. He looked at me than the sun. It told me everything when His eyes sparkled with the sunset. A slight smile started to grow on his face. He looked down at the water and started laughing at himself. "Yeah, I think so."
