I spent the rest of the day glaring at everyone who looked at me. I could not believe my friends would do that to me. I was pissed at them for being so stupid. I had heard Kiara and Blair curse multiple times yesterday, why were they making a big deal about me cursing? Why couldn't they play fair? I was determined to make Dheeraj apologise to me. I was definitely not going to let him win. I started thinking of ways to get back at Dheeraj.
After 2 hours of scratching and pulling my hair for any idea, I gave up. Planning and plotting against was definitely not my cup of tea. When the final bell rang, I quickly packed my bags and waited for the announcement of national anthem. I could not leave early even I wanted to and I hated it. I did not want to face anyone while leaving. I was trying to stay away from all the attention, glare and sympathetic looks that were thrown my way. I needed to get on Kiara's good side or I'll have to spend the next years of my life-alone. The idea of being alone, hit me hard. It suddenly brought back all the memories that i was trying so hard to forget. I did not want to be a victim here. I came here for a fresh start and I was not going to end up alone. With a new found determination in my mind, i made a promise to myself to talk to Blair about it tomorrow.
My mother picked me up from the school at 1 p.m. On our way home she asked me about my day and i lied about everything being fine.
"You start your tuition classes from today. Don't forget." She informed.
I hmm-ed in response and jumped out of the car as we reached home.
"Grab your lunch quickly then go and get dressed for your tuition. We have to leave in 20 minutes." She said.
"Stop ordering me around. I've had a long day today. Let me rest for sometime." I yelled.
"Don't use that tone on me. You know what you had signed up for when you wanted to change your school. And hence you do not have any time to rest so I'd suggest you to start eating and stop arguing." She ordered again.
I slammed my plate down in frustration and made my way to my room to get ready. I grabbed a long sleeve black t-shirt and a pair of leggings. I untied my hair up and straightened my bangs. After tying the mess I called my hair in a messy bun and letting my bangs cover the side of my forehead, I went to wash my face. I grabbed a plain notebook from my drawer, a pen and a calculator and went downstairs.
On seeing me getting down the stairs my mom said, "Baby, please have your lunch."
"I will take it in the car mom. I am sorry for behaving badly. I am just really tired and i am in no mood to go and study for 4 more hours." I said sadly.
"Honey you have already missed so many days of your classes. Plus you need to cover what you have missed in school too. You have to go." She said softly, trying to encourage me.
"Yes mom, I understand. Let's go." I said taking my now packed lunch in my hand.
My mom dropped me off to my new tuition classes and told me she'd pick me up at 4. I had my Math and Science classes from 2pm to 4pm and i had my English class from 4:30-6pm. I groaned when I realised how my days are going to be from now on. Shaking the thoughts off my mind, I opened the door in front of me.
"Excuse me, hey. Can i come in?" I asked a fat lady who was sitting in the corner of the room who seemed a lot like my new tutor.
"Yes come on in. You're 5 minutes late. I do not allow tardiness in my class but since it's your first day, I'll let you go. Remember if you are not here before me, from tomorrow, I'll send you home." She said strictly.
