"Jesse how many times have I called your name?" Marcus asked.
Wait, was he talking to me?
"Sorry Rashy I'm a little preoccupied" I replied absent mindedly.
"Way too preoccupied Jesse. What's on your mind?"
"Nothing" I mumble.
I don't know why I kept thinking about Bryan ah. Her smile was lovely and her laughter was music. As I thought about her, I smiled.
"Hello-o, earth- to- Jesse?" Marcus kept saying as he waved his hands in front of my face.
"What are you thinking about?" "
" Someone" I replied unconsciously.
"That someone must be very special cause you don't even think of me and smile." he says and put on a fake hurt face with his hands on his chest. I laugh. What will I do without Marcus?
"So, who is that someone?" he asked smiling.
"Which someone?" I relate playfully trying to evade the question.
Luckily, an interruption came but it was at the wrong time. It was a text from Bryannah. My heart lept and I smiled but then I remembered that I was with Marcus who was looking at me expectantly.

"So she's the reason why you're preoccupied." Marcus says.
"Oh shut up Rashy" I reply.
@RyaRich: So what's up?
@j.lingz: Nothing much. You?
@RyaRich: Preparing for tomorrow's
shoot at Afrikiki Gardens
@j.lingz: That's near our training
grounds.
@RyaRich: Cool
"Ask her out dummy."Marcus says
@j.lingz: Will you like to go out for
lunch with me?
@RyaRich: I would love to.
@j.lingz: See you tomorrow then?
@RyaRich: See you

"How do you know?" I ask.
"Ashley is her number one fan"
Ashley is Marcus' younger sister. She loves modeling.
Marcus' phone rings and he picks it up.
"Hey babe. No I'm not with Vanessa. I'm at Jesse's place. Of course I'm not lying."
I'm sure it was Andrea, his girlfriend. He signals me that he has to leave and I nodded.
After I heard Marcus' car leave, I went to have a shower and then lay on the couch thinking about you-know-who. Before I knew it, I fell asleep.
